Homelander Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The Lindsay Clancy case is tragic. But MAGA’s sudden fixation on “the victims” is revealing. Their concern is loud when the perpetrator fits the culture-war script, and strangely selective when Epstein’s victims point toward their own political side. 1

stevestojan Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Is the standout juror convict or acquit? It seems she is voting guilt and the other 11 are NOT? That can’t be right. Can it? 12 hours ago, Homelander said: The Lindsay Clancy case is tragic. But MAGA’s sudden fixation on “the victims” is revealing. Dude, there’s a million Epstein threads (all but like 1 started by you). I think (?) we finally found a topic we can all agree on, that this child murderer should be thrown off a high building. Can you help yourself even once? 1

Can it? it would appear that way based on the language the foreperson used, the instruction on what reasonable doubt is, and the fact that the defense is pissed about this holdout and not the prosecution

Candice Owens is bat**** crazy. She believes in flat earth, thinks the moon landings are fake, and that Tyler Robinson didn't shoot Charlie Kirk. Edited September 4 by Wacka 1
May Day 10 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The Judge is giving the defense an hour to make an emergency appeal.... I think the judge should just let the defense attorney sit behind the bench. 1
May Day 10 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Also, thinking about this case and the jury... How would it even be possible for jurors to avoid any sort of news, content, anything else around a high profile case? My phone and social media detect conversations.... thoughts even, and think I want to be inundated with "news", ads, and other content surrounding the subject matter. Everyone has a smartphone. Even sequestered, that is the crutch everyone uses. I have always thought that professional jurors is an appealing prospect. Jurors who would be educated in the law, court procedure, etc. Their records would be meticulously kept to mitigate any sort of prejudices. I get there are drawbacks too.
Big Blitz Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 Per Grok what is currently happening In the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, the jury deadlocked after ~36 hours over 7 days on whether she was criminally responsible for killing her 3 children (she claims postpartum psychosis). Judge Sullivan prepared to declare a mistrial (hung jury, no verdict). Defense attorney Reddington got 1 hour to seek a stay from the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, pausing the mistrial to challenge handling of a reported holdout juror. If denied, mistrial stands. Clancy remains in custody; prosecutors may retry, offer a plea, or drop charges. Hung-jury mistrial is not an acquittal.
milfandcookies Posted September 4 Posted September 4 What’s probably gonna happen is they retry this case and the defense requests a bench trial. Some judge will decide her fate

He wants to know if the woman who killed her three children Who has been condemned by the right and the center, while being celebrated by the far Left, Is going to be a GOP nominee. Just amazing. 1 1 4
