Monday's loss was to be expected. To play at Yankee Stadium on Sunday and then have to play the Angles in CA on Monday night was a tough spot to be in. What happened to the off day for traveling especially going from the EC to the WC. Anyway 79-60. 4 up on the Sox for the top WC spot. 4.5 back of the Rays. I don't know if they will catch Tampa, but they are pretty secure for a WC spot. The AL overall is weak this year. 1 Quote
dpberr Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Arte Moreno is one of the worst owners in the MLB. In the top 5 worst. This franchise has been on autopilot for a decade, and it's done nothing since Scioscia was manager. I think he gets a pass outside diehard fans because it's in SoCal where there are 50,000 things to do besides baseball. He seemed to have lost his passion for the Angels years ago, and he should have sold the team. Quote
