On paper? Sure. But it's in the Bills best interest for now and for the future to see what Coleman can do under a Head Coach that doesn't have him constantly in the dog house. That's our WR2 to start the season. Now if he or Palmer can't step up, fine. Bring Cooks back. But, for me it's only a move you make when all other options have failed.

Bringing Shaq back is the right move, but I'm sad it wasn't Milano they brought in.  Milano had the talent for the HOF but injuries took too many years away from him.  And his physical game helped break down his body.

Yeah this was a guy who wanted a payday, didnt get it waited till the very end and then took his next best option... in the end he can still get signed off the PS... But I expect a move to bring him to the active roster...  jmo

Don't blame guys who know they were likely to get cut from not wanting to do training camp.  Guys 32 years old, and probably an injury away from retirement.  1yr practice squad is 3-400k as a vet, and i think his active minimum is 1.3M.  He's made a lot of money in his career, but both of those numbers aren't insignificant amounts of money for a season in buffalo either.  Not buying mansions or whatever, but you can probably rent a nice place month to month during the season, and its just work.  

 

His job right now is to pick up the defense in walk throughs, watch film with the guys, and stay not injured.  If there's a major injury - he'll move to the active roster.

There's new rookies every year, plus guys on rookie deals... There's guys on 2nd deals... and then there's older players who are still top of the food chain who are on 3rd or longer.  There aren't that many inside linebackers on each team so there's just fewer jobs, and you won't find all-pros by starting 32 year old cast-offs though either.

Really??? On a team w/ SB aspirations? LOL  The guy who did it once versus an all-8th Rd Pick Defense..... over the guy whos done it like nobody else over the last decade, and was doing it 9months ago... good enough to instantly be our #1 WR, after joining the team mid-week of like week 11?  

 

I think he'd look real nice across from DJ Moore in the Emmanuel Sanders/Gabe Davis [ the #3/#4 WR version early career ] !  I'm not trusting that during a SB push to a guy, because he's cousins w/ a big name.

The window is now.  Josh is 30 years old and entering his 9th season.  There is no more next year and preparing for the future.

I see Cooks as no better than a 4th WR at this point of his career. He gets open deep and drops the ball. But he does get open, at least.

Shaq was very good in Buffalo last year. Happy to have him at the facility during the week. A good "break glass" kind of tool to have in the tool box
