The gunner is Sam Franklin - as he was brought in to be last season. Ray Davis was a 1st Team All Pro Returner last season. He muffed a Punt in the last Pre-Season game, but a single drop can happen to anyone. If he was an All Pro at Kick Return, you have to feel pretty confident about him Returning Punts as well. Bass is a bit of a concern. But they can always pull the plug there and call back Prater. They have much of their ST's core intact. Sherfield is another solid vet Teams guy who will likely stick there as well. Doman looks very solid as a Punter. Special Teams aren't the mess you're implying. Just because Davis returned kickoffs doesn't mean he'll be a quality punt returner. BillsFanForever19 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) When your favorite underdog, overachieving camp body RB, WR, or CB gets cut after performing decently well against other camp bodies in the Pre-Season - know that it's going to be okay. And while you may truly believe and even proclaim "there's no way we can get them back on the Practice Squad!" - know that it's way more likely than not we will.
