Parking on north side of the stadium question

Quick question.  I've been to the old stadium 80  times and now, as of last Saturday, the new stadium once.   Of all the times I have come in a car I have come from the South every single time.  Whether it be 90 to 219 to Big Tree back in the day, or more recently from Rochester to Batavia and then down 98 to 20A/Big Tree.  Always parking at Hammers (back in the day ) or front lawns in recent years.

 

However for the home opener I will be camping that weekend with the wife up  at Sleepy Hollow Lake in Akron.  I'll drop her off at the cabin like 3ish and then head down to the stadium.  I know coming down Southwestern can be a jam prior to games.  Any advice for spots with an easy out on that side of the stadium?  California road?  Other options?  What I love about parking on Big Tree is it's a nice easy, quick out through East Aura, Varysburg and then North through Batavia.  Any tricks or tips for coming from teh north side and back?

 

Hate the throughway post game so I do all I can to avoid it.

Last weekend I took 219 to Milestrip, turned left on California and parked in a resident’s yard on Webster for $30.  Easy in and easy out. But it was a beautiful day and people got there early and a lot left early, especially those on the visitor’s side where the sun was all afternoon. NOTE: I used 190 south to 90; I think I missed a lot of construction slowdowns that way. You may be better off sticking to back roads to 20 or 20A and come in that way.

Good tip. Thanks! ...$30? My normal spot, and most along Big Tree jumped from $20 and up to $40 and up.

 

I don't have a problem with them doing that at all, it must have been organized.  Sure it was a necessity of the times....But I also like cheaper...Go Bills!
