Isn’t a thing that Phillips is the one pass rusher that gives Brown problems?

I could’ve sworn I’ve seen that somewhere.

And finally.......  Time to bubble wrap the starters on both sides of the ball.  Yes, reps are important, but potential injuries to key guys outweigh the benefits of a handful of snaps the rest of the way.

This!!  I actually thought it somewhat unwise to play starters on offense, but the work is helpful and you have almost a month to recover if you get injured.

I'll pull together more but:

- Our OTs will be a bit sheepish in the film room. Not a bad thing for preseason game 1

- I hope Moore is truly ok. He is the keystone for the offense. He has to stay available all playoffs.

- Walker. Stud.

- Would like to see TJ Sanders flash more....

- Bernard has juice and the Will suits him more

- Alford and Hancock can both play and it's SO nice to have at least a single layer of depth there

- Brady appears to be as detail oriented as he should be and I like that. I especially love the challenge flag. He knows it wasn't going to be overturned, it was about the process

- TJ Parker doesn't look like a year 1 recurring impact player but he also showed reason for optimism.

- Dana had some legit pass rush reps.

- This locker room loves Kani Walker. I also think Pride, despite the PI, can really tackle. He'll make the practice squad

- Latu had some nice moments

- I did not expect to enjoy Kyle Allen or Shane Buchele offenses but I did lol

- Wheeler can play. Gore Jr can too but Wheeler is fast.

- LOVE our new punter. Wow.

- The stadium and the grass look incredible. You can tell who is a troll or consumed by rage bait quite easily on this board

TJ Parker I think can be a nice 3rd or 4th pass rusher who rotates in. Which for a rookie is a nice impact. I also think Dana was a really undervalued signing, once again not a major needle mover but a nice 4th pass rusher who adds some solid depth. Before they drafted Parker and added Dana the two players behind Groot and Chubb were Hoecht coming off a major injury and Solomon a special teams ace but one whose not proven much as a pass rusher. Dana adds a lower end proven vet into the mix and then Parker adds short term depth and longer term development which was badly needed longer term.

We need more people around here that remind us it's only preseason and not to be excited. I was trying to cash out my super bowl bet, but it only went up 25 cents. I need those people to keep me grounded. They serve an important role to this team and fan base.

It’s only preseason. Don’t get excited. 😉

Solid first preseason game that exceeded expectations. Lots of things to tighten up but overall strong first game.

Not expecting the starters to play much more in the preseason except players who havent played due to injuries.

Let’s make sure Cole, Gardner, Johnson and McGovern are 💯 to start the season. We already know they can all play.

Lots of players flashed on D, but it’s somewhat concerning that Sanders, who we traded up in the 2nd round for, still seems invisible. Hopefully, he shows something in the remaining preseason games.

The IGB stat line…

Hopefully this bears out as the season progresses. If it does there is no clearer evidence that coaching was the thing holding this team back.

The only concerning thing I saw was the penalties.

9 for 98 yards is not good. Hope discipline doesn't become an issue.

Outside of that, everything else looked very promising. There were a few plays where tackling looked pretty bad, but I'm chalking that up to backups & 3rd stringers over anything else.

Nearly half those penalty yards came on 2 plays during final drive of 1st half: 1. face mask on Stone and 2. PI on Pride Jr.

Not condoning penalties, but 1 was a fluke face mask and 2nd was a questionable call, illegal contact at most.

A few other things I'll add, if not already said, but the new stadium looks amazing on TV. Can only imagine what it'll look like at night in prime time. I didn't love the white outline of the bills logo at mid field and in the enzones, but whatever, win and I don't care

Didn’t see the game.  Sounds like Walker was a beast.  Anyone else flash on D?   Sounds like a good all around effort out there.

Reminder: NFL replay is tonight at midnight.

So what is the location of “the pit” that was a urban legend and folklore in orchard park for a small amount of time?

has to be like a good sacrificial omen that will be good luck to us here on out right?

Honestly I had the feeling that they might paint it in and they just didn't want to destroy it for a preseason game

So they just stenciled in the outline.. I think it would be possible to color it in and maybe they are waiting and they just did the outline

How did Landon Jackson look?

saw he got a TFL

The D Line and edge rushers controlled the game.  Bottled up the running game and consistently got pressure on the QB.  Promising start.

Moore. Not that the Bills ever doubted it. But the fans get to see a true number 1 Bills WR again. The ball is his. The defenders aren’t around him when Allen pin points it, because Moore is a real WR. We haven’t had a guy make it look easy like how WR1’s do it in some time.

I'm excited about the defense.

I was a McDermott fan.  He changed this culture, and I believe he was a good all-around coach.  But I have always felt that we had more talent on defense than what the results showed.

I have a hunch that we finally have a championship D.
