Shaw66 Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Someone on this forum in the past few weeks commented that the classic Carmichael and Sean Payton passing offense was a deep guy, a tight end, and a running back. Hawes makes the tight end room formidable, makes it a room to be featured. Moore, the tight ends, Cook and change of pace depth behind him. Could be a special offense. 5 2 Quote

Really crossing my fingers they made a concerted effort to improve his receiving game. He dont need to to justify being a weapon, but having that added duality makes his job easier/ more effective blocking. Especially down at the goal line. Get that man some early season goal line td's and he'll be impossible to shed blocks on 4 Quote

I think our TE scouts are pretty damn good at finding guys like this that have receiving talent but were in systems that didn't feature them as pass catchers. I always laugh when I see some posters rip on Knox for drops. I just hope they continue to feed him because he can produce when called on . Then if Hawes becomes a more utilized target in the passing game there'e no telling what this TE group can do !!
