I dont think the performance will be broadcasted on the Amazon stream. Amazon has too many commercials sold and isnt trading that revenue just to broadcast some local favorites. They'll have their desk with Fitz, Whitworth, Gonzalez, Sherman. They'll play a bunch of commercials. We might get a brief clip of it on TV just as a "hey this went on" thing. People arent going to be surprised or lose their minds over them, so theyre really setting everyone up for a letdown. If theyre looking to really move on from the past with the new stadium and jerseys, continually dragging up a band nobody from outside Buffalo cares about is just doing the same kinda thing over and over. I'm not a Killers guy, and especially not into that one big song they play, but I'd give them some credit if thats the act, just for trying something outside of their comfort level. It isnt NYC, LA, San Fran, Seattle, Chicago, Nashville, Miami, or even Atlanta as far as the amount and caliber of musical acts it has produced. If we want better halftime bands, then Buffalo needs to start producing some more bands. Quote
