I know it’s just meant to be a scrimmage, but with it being the first event of the new stadium and only open to STH, I figured we’d have a “game day@ event thread.

A few things:

1 - Brady came out and said that this won’t be an actual scrimmage and more of just a practice.  I personally don’t care, as I’ll be just taking in the stadium.  But I do think it’s a little messed up to course correct last minute.

2 - Gates around the stadium open at 4p, but you can’t get into the actual stadium until 5p.  It looks like they moved all of the vendor tents and stands next to the stadium and behind the security gates.  Not sure why anyone would need an hour for that, but I guess we shall see.

3 - Fireworks are at 9:20p, but apparently won’t be very visible from inside the stadium

4 - Anyone tailgating?  Is Hammers doing anything?

See you all there!

Drove from CT to get a first look at the stadium! I don’t care if it’s a practice or a scrimmage.  Go Bills!

I cannot wait to hear in here from everyone who’ll be there. It’s exciting. I’m already regretting telling my son I didn’t want to go to any games, he sold all but two games and going with his brother. I can’t pull rank now. Oh well, anyways it’s gonna be fun reading the comments. I’m jealous.

Meet me in the parking lot for psalms and the good news, immediately followed by rolling up Philly's with purple haze while bumping Killa Cam Purple Haze, ya dig?

Can’t wait to get there.

Plan is to tailgate from 3 to about 5. Nothing serious, just grill some wings and hang out.  Will walk by the old Ralph and grab some photos, then head into the stadium to check it out!  2 hours should be enough time to walk the stadium.

looking forward to seeing if the roof covers my seats....lol

This might be a good day to test that out, as there is a thunderstorm going on right now.

I’m really excited (maybe even irrationally excited). After seeing all the videos, and reading all the reports, it seems amazing. We deserve this. I plan to spend most of tonight wandering. I want to see the entire place or as much as we are allowed to get to tonight.

I'll be there.  Forget lavish weddings, grad, or retirement parties, this is the biggest social event in WNY this summer.

Other than looking at the field to take in the sightlines, I don't think I'll be watching much of the practice.

What time are people thinking of getting there today? I have a feeling there’s going to be alot of people going early and with the limited parking it’s going to be a cluster.

Unfortunately, I am not a season ticket holder and won't be going tonight because of the ticket situation.  However, I was able to grab tickets to the open practice on the 18th.  In terms of tonight, aside from the stadium experience from fans, I am most interested in parking info.  How smooth is it?  I don't have a parking pass since I am not a season ticket holder......  What lots will I even have access to?  All that type of information is interesting to me.

Of course I am interested in making sure nobody gets hurt at the practice tonight, but in recent years, these have been fairly tame practices.  No pads or hitting.  But still....new field and conditions.  Always a worry there no matter how well maintained the field has been.

I’m pumped to say I’ll be there!!! I’m not a season ticket holder I got invited by a wealthy friend with box seats. Feel lucky and blessed to check out the stadium tonight.

I think this is a very big day for WNY'ers.

I would really like to see the place but alas, and sigh, my only contribution is going to the local Wegman's in Charlottesville and buying the fixin's for beef on weck. which I'm making for tonight's dinner with the Mrs.

Can't wait to see the reports.

WGR had a Bills guy in the other day. He stated with the additional parking opens up by the stadium and increasing the size of each tailgating spot there is a net positive in parking spots.

Will see today as I expect a full house.

What I’m wondering about is the impact of the team allowing any fan, with or without tickets, to hang outside the stadium and partake in the pregame activities prior to the game. Fans without tickets won’t be able to park in stadium lots, but will add to the traffic mayhem before the game, and possibly after.
