And Cook's fumble led to 7 points that would have won the game in regular time. But you aren't pinning the loss "squarely on the shoulders of #4". Quote

Continually focusing on eliminating any errors, and adding more and more detail, proved to be troubleshooting the wrong issue.. and creating a tense environment. Likely ground this team down year after year, trying to repeatedly tighten things up more than the year before... it worked.... at making everyone tense lol 10 minutes ago, mannc said: IMO, that was the turning point of the game. An absolute killer fumble… Need to zoom out. It was a turning point, but that thought should've never entered their brains either. We had 3 full Q's to fix things!!! But it sure looked like everyone believed that was the mistake that'd do them in, too big to fix 1 Quote
NewEra Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I watched the 4th qtr of the ravens game last year. When they showed him on the sideline, it brought out a little emotion in me. I’ll miss him and wish him well….but it was time. 3 Quote
zow2 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I heard some other players podcast and the guest was Dion. They asked him to describe McDermott in one word.. after saying all the politically correct stuff about McD being a great man, etc.. he said in one word: Militant. And then Dion went on to gush how great it is to have Brady as HC now and how the whole team is rejuvenated. Feels like McD would get really puckered up in the big games late. 1 Quote
dpberr Posted August 24 Posted August 24 He has all of the things you want if you are a Division 1 university hungry for a sustainable, play by the rules anti-Harbaugh championship-caliber college program. And that's not a dig. You could put him at at an underperforming football school (like...Nebraska) and he'd have them in the Top 25 the entire season by Year 2. 1 Quote

QB Bills Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Glorified DB coach who wasted multiple years of arguably the most talented QB to ever step on an NFL field. Should have fired his ass after the first KC playoff loss. 3 1 1 1 2 Quote

It’s been pointed out in several articles written by the Buffalo media that he still hangs his hat on breaking the drought. At some point, that can’t be his only argument why he should’ve stayed as the bills coach. As you referred when you have one of the games best QBs,currently and maybe at the end of the day when Josh hangs it up, of all time. It’s actually criminal that he never made it to a Super Bowl with him. 1 Quote
MPL Posted August 24 Posted August 24 I totally misinterpreted this thread. Thought it was going to be a thread for people whose ex girlfriends/boyfriends were being stalked by Sean McDermott. 3 Quote

Between having Josh (fair or not) the debacles in the playoffs (especially 13 seconds), the weakness of his defensive scheme in big moments, and personality/tension created that he's got a longer road to become a HC again. That's a perception that goes far beyond reality. The last 3 playoff exits saw the Bills offense on the field with a chance to get the lead and then failed to do so. The :13 fiasco was a stand-a-lone failure that's on him. The rest not so much, imo. Time to get rid of Josh Allen and Brady. Anything to make this stop. Quote

Wild take, far bigger a-holes with way worse track records of success have gotten jobs year after year in the NFL Quote
