BillsFanForever19 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 (edited) Pretty sweet gesture and a pretty original gift idea from James to his Quarterback. Cook's a pretty quiet guy, but you can tell he's an awesome dude. Edited August 5 by BillsFanForever19 8 1 20 3 Quote

Conlan58 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Genius move by Cook... he now has a chauffeur. I know I'd spring for a custom golf cart if that made Josh my chauffeur! 6 1 Quote

SoonerBillsFan Posted August 5 Posted August 5 This is an awesome thing. Our all pro/ All world QB and All world RB are tight. No egos, just one shared goal. I am excited to see how Carmichael uses cook this year. 3 1 Quote

Cook may be smart about managing his money and this gift is just noise. However, there are many stories out there about others who regret being so "generous" with their money... 1 7 1 3 Quote

Bray Wyatt Posted August 5 Posted August 5 I remember when I was at Jim Kelly football camp as youngster. Carwell Gardner was driving around Kenneth Davis in a golf cart, similar to how Josh was driving Cook there at the end. Carwell seemed so big in that thing! Quote
Bills fan since 87 Posted August 5 Posted August 5 My god, at first glance, for a split second I saw only "James Cook" and "golf cart" and my heart stopped. 1 3 Quote

I thought the same thing. Get him a dang scooter for a couple hundred bucks. These guys have a finite amt if time making this $. When your Josh, you don’t need to worry, but a RB on a short life, you need to invest your $. It was a very nice gesture, but his mo ey will stop in a few years. Hopefully he’s investing financially, and he is preparing for post football life.. Quote

I just saw Mike MacDonald talking about connection being a major factor for championship teams and the Bills have had that "play for each other" mentality for a while now...so they got that going for them, which is nice. 1 Quote
