Pretty sweet gesture and a pretty original gift idea from James to his Quarterback. Cook's a pretty quiet guy, but you can tell he's an awesome dude.

Nice gesture but acts like this can contribute to the multitude of players who go broke when the big checks stop coming in. Cook may be smart about managing his money and this gift is just noise. However, there are many stories out there about others who regret being so "generous" with their money...

🙃

David Edwards ain't getting a gift. But he's probably doing pretty okay with his 4 year, 61m contract with 45m in guarantees and a 20m signing bonus 😂

I remember when I was at Jim Kelly football camp as youngster. Carwell Gardner was driving around Kenneth Davis in a golf cart, similar to how Josh was driving Cook there at the end.

Carwell seemed so big in that thing!

This reminds me of my ex-wide getting on me for eating too much pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving.

I thought the same thing.  Get him a dang scooter for a couple hundred bucks.  These guys have a finite amt if time making this $.  When your Josh, you don’t need to worry, but a RB on a short life, you need to invest your $.

It was a very nice gesture, but his mo ey will stop in a few years.  Hopefully he’s investing financially, and he is preparing for post football life..

I am sure he takes care of them too.

But he noticed in camp, that there might be a few more mouths to feed this year, and he wants to make sure Josh remembers to give him the rock.

This is an awesome thing. Our all pro/ All world QB and All world RB are tight.  No egos, just one shared goal.  I am excited to see how Carmichael uses cook this year.

TBH it seems like most of this team genuinely care about one another and are all pretty close with each other. I just saw Mike MacDonald talking about connection being a major factor for championship teams and the Bills have had that "play for each other" mentality for a while now...so they got that going for them, which is nice.
