Why is OBD so opposed to giving their fans something aesthetically appealing at home? Four alternate jerseys and not one throwback at home? And the one throwback that everyone universally loved is being worn on the road in Denver?

Probably less about the Bills doing too much and more about the NFL telling the Bills that they have to do this.

 

Josh is often the top selling jersey in the league. So when they decide they're going to do alternate jerseys, the Bills are pretty much always going to be selected so that there's new Josh Allen jerseys to sell.

 

Between Home, Away, Throwback, Color Rush, Rivalries, and Nickel City - the NFL has 6 different Josh Allen jerseys to sell. And that's what it's really about.

I missed a game for my grandson’s baptism last year. I don’t remember missing another Bills game in decades. It turns out my world kept going. Missing more games in the future is not the horrible thought I used to think it was.

They have to wear the rivalry jersey three times. Last year was against the Pats, this year the Fins, and next season it's probably the Jets.

Pure speculation. Of course money is factored in.  It’s very likely imo, that the Bills wanted to inaugurate a new alt uniform in the new stadium and would’ve done it regardless of what the nfl has to say.  We didn’t have to wear alt uniforms the maximum of 4 times.  We chose to.  Doing too much

It literally takes away from the football for me. But of course that’s not as important as a few more dollars for the Shield.

It's just a dumb, cheap gimmick that teams go to in order to make a quick buck without having to put any effort at all into the design or anesthetic (and the gray Bills uniform isn't any better in that regard, especially the blue helmets).

Agree on the black for black's sake.  Guelli on the Sal C. podcast earlier this week said that the Bills wanted an all black alternate but the league nixed it because black is not a Bills' core color.  Sal and Bove sounded like that would be awesome...ugh.  How is black a Miami core color (unless it's really a midnight blue).

It doesn't look midnight blue. Looks black to me.

They are wearing the blue jersey for most of the home games. The question is how many will be blue over white or all blue as the pants on the uniform gridiron website say "TBA" for those games.
