He is a good one. You had a bunch of 3’s and below. Josh elevated them. Now, you have a legit, borderline 1, and he looks like a superstar. Moore can play. The difference between him and guys that have played on the boundary is noticeable. I do think a healthy Palmer is better than a 3. 1 1 1 Quote

I'm not going to read into it at all, especially on Max's end... but thats probably a bad matchup for Max... def an interesting one. A ton of length (and physicality advantage in an in ideal scenario for Keon). Thats a matchup style Keon is likely to see quite a bit ---> learn how to get open vs smaller faster guy... and learning how to use that frame. A matchup of styles Max is much less likely to be in, and a chance to round out his game. A great way for Josh to learn how to use Keon to his advantages. 1 2 1 Quote

Despite that, man that was fun to watch..... but HOLY S*** what a massive upgrade in so many different levels for Josh top get DJ, with a full TC. I expect big things outta them, but am low-key hoping this duo curb stomps the Josh/Stef 2020 connection. I dont expect it, but it also won't surprise me. He's gotta feel like a different man after 3years with no real primary receiver... figuring out how to make that work... and now getting one back. That's a huge mental boost, only difference is Josh is a savvy vet this time. 1 Quote

These drills the wide receiver is at a distinct advantage Linebackers and running backs in their drill is much more even in setup i'd say 1v1s the advantage is more to the QB tbh which in theory helps the WR but it's still skill on skill wideout vs corner as a former DB i used to like 1v1s because it was pure test of skill...you're in man the whole time and you don't have to worry about zones or backfield responsibilities, you can just focus on technique jamming release/leveraging in phase/impacting catchpoint it would be great to see those hairston/coleman reps tbh. i still don't love coleman's footwork w the false steps and being so wide at release that if hairston's in tight he should be able to win..if he's playing a little off coleman would have an easier time of it in theory. then at catch point it's ball skills and who wants it more and i'd give advantage to coleman again there iirc hairston had a few reps vs tee higgins where he did well using his quickness staying connected on shorter routes...got a little exposed vs the longer WR when asked to cover deeper Quote

I'm sure he's just a pumped to be playing with league MVP at QB. 1 hour ago, HappyDays said: Yeah I don't know. Joe Marino had some fantasy guy on his podcast recently. He railed against Beane for not investing in weapons around Allen, and then in the same breath called the DJ Moore trade a huge overpay made out of desperation. I really don't get it. Either you pay a premium for talent or you don't have talent. Admittedly Moore has exceeded even my own high expectations, his production his last year in Chicago made me wonder if he had fallen off a bit, but instead he seems to be in the best shape of his life and immediately has become Allen's go-to guy. My point being made. Telling me what stats say is not judging talent. Quote

I'm not sure I like it but you gotta say they have planned it all along. Shorter practices, bringing along Bernard and Williams slowly, half day Pads on before full pads on. I'd think, especially on defense side, with the scheme change and so many 1st &2nd year players, you want more on-field game-like practices. But they clearly identified player health as a top issue and tried something different with Brady at the helm. No one know if it works. We do what did not work. And we don't know the impact either --- readiness of the players at the beginning of the season, etc. History/military almost always shows the same thing --- the more a group suffers together and the harsher the battle/war, the tighter the comradery gets among the guys stuck in it. You can take everything else away - even getting individual morale to near 0, and comradery will be the last last to take a hit (thats IF it does at all). With that said, I know whatever TF we have been doing the last 5+ years is the exact polar opposite of how we should be structuring our TC & practices. Only the guys inside that building know what that looks like. The league is different than it used to be, and I suspect: 1. the demands of college ball have already shortened players shelf-lives, by the time they've made it here. 2. 17 game schedules 3. 7+ years of deep playoff runs have added up to an extra full season of ball, over that same time frame There are certainly trade-offs in sliding that balance one way or the other. It's up to Coaches to find unique ways to push these athletes physically/mentally, without breaking them. I cant believe im saying this, but I would rather have this team healthy and a bit behind in the early part season, as opposed to running on fumes going into December. TLDR: WHATEVER TF WE'VE BEEN DOING, HAS NOOOOOOT WORKED. BRADY HAS THE UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE OF SEEING THOSE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS. I'M HOPING MAJOR CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE TO PRACTICE HABITS 2 1 Quote

I saw that sentiment echoed by others who attended. 1 Quote
