WTF was that "The left knee is being looked at. He has his helmet back on" report from 'BuiltInBuffalo' after he got hit in the nads.  Clowns

Maybe the post was referring to the offending knee that kneed the aforementioned balls?  Just trying to keep things in perspective.

I might get my wish. He might be so bad in camp that they have no choice but to bring in someone competent. They can burn a PS spot to keep Josh happy but you can’t have Kyle Allen a snap away. There are some guys that you might be able to wrestle free like Minshew or Levis or Aiden O’Connell or Wentz or Rattler/Zach Wilson or Jameis (my 1st choice), or Anthony Richardson. None of those guys are perfect but all would represent an upgrade. Maybe you can use an OL like SVPG or Lundt, that might not make the team to get a deal done?

I've speculated on it, and I've seen a projected 53 man roster where Shane Beuchelle beats out Kyle Allen.  If that happens, the Bills might cut K Allen outright and bring in somebody else for the PS.  They aren't going to find anybody at this point who can come in and do a good job as primary backup, but they might find some promising young blood among the cuts of other teams.

Kyle Allen even being here is because Josh wants it. They can certainly justify burning a PS spot on him if it keeps Josh happy. Kyle Allen is Bronny or Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Good to listen to. This guy is, as he himself said, a football junky. He is wired into what the team is doing.

Not a single word about Landon Jackson….. other than he gained a few pounds. Seriously starting to look like a huge waste of a round 3 pick…. Maybe one of Beane’s worst picks ever in top 3 rounds. Why? The dude is going to get zero reps!! No playing time, may not even make the 53 and could be a cut here in a couple weeks. That kind of a bad pick

So far, that added strength has made a difference as Jackson has been a disruptive force. As Lance Lysowski from Buffalo News says, the coaches must love what they have seen from Jackson thus far.

"During an 11-on-11 drill, Allen faked a handoff on a play-action pass, but he didn't have time to throw. Jackson created a quick pressure with an inside move, forcing Allen to bail on the screen pass. The Bills need Jackson to be disruptive this season, and the play showed that the muscle he added this offseason is translating to the field. Plus, it was worth noting how often the running backs were involved in the Bills' passing game for the second practice in a row," Lysowski wrote.

Nice video. I really didn't think he'd be back, or be the same person he was before the injury, but listening to him and watching some of those videos of him at practice, he is looking really confident on that leg. Give him the first 4 games to get back into form, and this guy could really be a huge benefit earlier than expected.

Of your list which is pretty much the same as mine, I really would be curious about either Wilson or Levis. Neither are great and both make early career Josh Allen type head scratching plays. Both would clearly upgrade Kyle Allen and hey, maybe some time in a QB room learning from Josh could help.

Updates from Matt Parrino:

Dalton Kincaid was probably the best player on offense. I counted 3 total TDs for him in a red zone heavy day. The Bills didn't go pads for team drills but did have them on for the early periods.

Kincaid is nearly an impossible cover through the first four practices (probably should be that way since they're not in pads). His final TD came after dusting Sam Franklin, who had the unfortunate job of covering him 1on1. I don't know why the Bills are elevating Franklin at safety. I'd much rather see more of Kilgore.

Landon Jackson for me through 4 days has been the biggest climber on defense. He went 1on1 with Austin Corbett during OLvsDL and it was a complete mismatch. Jackson used his size and completely put Corbett off balance before driving around him to what would be a finish at the QB. His size and athleticism has real potential to be a problem. He's moving well and I'm interested to talk to him this week and find out what he did to get his body to where it is and how he can try and avoid injury. I wonder how much inactivity last year ultimately contributed to his injury. Probably not something he can quantify but he looks solid.

I think we're getting closer to pushing the panic button on Tylan Grable. He was cooked twice today during 1on1s, first by Michael Hoecht on a speed rush to the outside and then Javon Solomon with a very similar move. Jude Bowry looked solid in the same drill, matching up against Michael Hoecht & Andre Jones. Jones hit a nice punch off his initial get-off but Bowry recovered to compete in the block. He then shut down a power rush by Hoecht, which earned a headbutt celebration from Hoecht after the fact (and no, Hoecht wasn't wearing a helmet & Bowry was LOL!) TJ Parker destroyed Chase Lundt--speed to power big win.

I'm starting to notice Dee Alford quite a bit. He made a play on what would have been a sure Keon Coleman touchdown that stopped the score from happening. Allen was going through his progressions when he landed on 0 and ripped off a laser to the bakc part of the end zone. Problem was that Alford quickly recognized the target and exploded to the spot, dove for the ball, and knocked it down.

Buechele is outplaying Kyle Allen, who had another rough day on Monday. Buechele, though, threw a touchdow Trent Sherfield with Te'Cory Couch in coverage. Making the play even more impressive was that Buechele had Landon Jackson in his grill!

If you can't kick step out there to mirror Michael freaking Hoecht, you are not long for this league.

Dont buy the Cook stuff. Brady was OC and I dont think McD was forcing him to use Cook a certain way. We have seen Cook in the passing game a lot at times and then they get away from it for stretches. Think that is a Brady match up thing.

I mean I don't expect him to get an Alvin Kamara-esque target share, but bringing Pete Carmichael into the room isn't a coincidence. I'd expect his targets to go up and hopefully as more than just a checkdown option. Get him the ball in space and he can make people miss.
