I’m much less focused on “who looked good today” than on “who got hurt today?” 1 1 Quote

Bills!Win! Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Can I ask, what is the point of 7 on 7 drills? It doesn’t simulate real football 1 Quote
SCBills Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Every practice report so far… “WR’s look healthy and improved, DB’s making plays, Allen developing a connection with Moore and KYLE ALLEN LOOKS SO BAD.” 1 Quote

The top of their roster has lacked. Hairston has the talent to be a star in the NFL. The tools are there. If that happens, the secondary becomes one of the best secondaries in the NFL. His development is one of the most important parts of this offseason. 7 8 Quote

QBs reading coverage & timing, WRs route route running & getting open, and all aspects of coverage for the Defense. Obviously the QB can't run, so 7-on-7 is pretty stupid as a substitute for real football, but it has it's use for practice. 4 3 Quote

Additionally it allows for the hogs to work interior and perimeter run game. Most football practices are broken into segments with individual, unit, and team positions. Otherwise people would just be standing around a lot of the time Quote

Love what I’m hearing from Palmer so far this camp as I’ve seen him show he can do it in the league and his separation stats were a major reason we signed him. He just has to stay healthy. 5 Quote
PoundingDog Posted August 3 Posted August 3 7 on 7 primarily focuses on structured offensive passing work. QB scramble is not supposed to be part of it but recent trend is that defense uses it to practice defending mobile QBs. One big part of it is limiting injuries without D lineman crashing on QBs so offense having better chance to practice what it intends to do, i.e. getting a play worked inside and out; something like for the QB to read his WRs body language against different coverages in the context that play. 3 Quote
