James Cook was a menace in the passing game at UGA. 

 

We all know how good of a receiving back Ty Johnson is. 
 

Ray Davis was viewed as, arguably, the best receiving back in his Draft. 
 

Really excited to see Carmichael’s influence on this Offense with what our RB’s can do in the passing game.  
 

Especially in games like Week 1, against Houston, where getting Allen some easy rhythm throws should be top priority.

I do like the other guys and you don’t want to wear out Cook. But I always think it’s a loss when we take our 2nd best player off the field.

It’s comin’ boys. We are gonna witness some spread out flash this season. Very excited to see a complete offense that isn’t so predictable. First down 21 Power to start every drive was McDermott’s idea. First Bills play from scrimmage week 1 should be 32 personal!

Had to be sure and look it up:

"In football, 32 personnel is a rare, heavy offensive grouping featuring 3 running backs (including fullbacks) and 2 tight ends on the field at the same time"

 

Maybe DJ Moore would like a breather one play, and we have the horses to do it. Would be great to see their defense stack the box, and Josh throws a pass to his choice of skilled pass catchers out of the backfield. Go Bills!

IDK, it looks like they think they have what they need in Hawes to handle the 6th lineman a couple of years ago, and the Gilliam angle.  Hawes can knock a Mack truck back when needed.

I think we have 2 on the roster right now - this spot will probably come down to health and special teams ability.

If you count Jackson Hoss and Alec Anderson, the Bill have 6 of their primary 7 OL back with only a single new G to work into the mix.

Maybe he's one of the folks worried about Kromer retiring? 🤷‍♂️

Throws to the RBs should also do a lot to stem the Texans nasty pass rush.  We need to force their DE's into making decisions and slowing their reactions.  Josh was nearly 'killed' in that game last year.  Good news though - he has said several times this offseason that he knows they haven't played well in Houston and they need to get after them this year - he's motivated!

I was being a little firecracker on that one, but why not?! My first idea was 33. Had to refresh my rules memory for offense. No can do. Was thinking an eligible Hawes in place of a tackle but five lineman are required. 
 

I believe DJ Moore lined up at RB sometimes in his NFL career. Not as extensive as Deebo for SF. 
 

Man I’m excited for Moore. He and Jamar Chase might be flesh and blood the two most complete physical specimens at receiver I’ve seen on a football field. Chase just so happens to be the best WR also. Barkley-esque prototype mold.

I think that’s right. Bills need to attack Houston smartly. The HOU playbook should be very specific to that defensive. They need to still lineup and be bullies, establish that, but design plays that take advantage of Houston’s over aggressiveness. Love the idea of using RBs and TEs to get Houston thinking and back on their heels. Nothing like basic quick slants either. That predictable stuff means a nasty, fast defense gets to thoughtlessly attack straight ahead. No bueno

You’re right. We have a few guys that can car crash into Josh’s back. Knox, Hawes, Moore, Ty. Maybe a little Ray Davis if we want to submarine Josh for an inch. Why not two pushers? Why not run some plays out of it. Fake push jump pass over the middle to slenderloin Dawkins for da touchdown
