Figured we could have a one-stop-shop for all other news around the league.

I'll start with this one:

Tua should have retired already.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is sidelined with what the team considers a "flare-up" of an undisclosed injury, according to coach Kevin Stefanski.

The Falcons did not reveal the nature of Tagovailoa's injury Wednesday, but sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that the veteran quarterback is dealing with a tight back.

With Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. both out, sources told Schefter that the Falcons are signing Cooper Rush to strengthen their suddenly injury-ravaged quarterback room.

Bijan Robinson is apparently holding out too.

Good times in Atlanta

Is there any official report? I haven't seen any, only that he is there while they are negotiating a new deal in the background.

Shemar Stewart just went down and was carted off in Bengals camp.

Bijan Robinson seeking new contract

Josh Kendall·

Senior Writer, Falcons

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson’s absence from Wednesday’s opening practice of training camp was contract-related, a team source told The Athletic. Robinson was the No. 8 pick in the 2023 draft and has led the NFL in yards from scrimmage over his three years as a pro.

The Falcons have had discussions about a new deal for the University of Texas product throughout the offseason, but no deal has been reached. While Atlanta held its first training camp practice on Wednesday morning, Robinson watched from the sideline wearing his jersey but no helmet or cleats.

Robinson is represented by Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports Group, but messages to his representatives were not immediately returned Wednesday.

Robinson has 5,648 yards from scrimmage in the last three years. Last season, he led the league with 2,298.

The Falcons' backup running back, Brian Robinson, signed in the offseason to provide depth in the backfield, fell and stayed down on the sideline and was attended to by trainers during Wednesday's practice. He stayed on the sideline but did not participate.

Is that the same tight back injury that was initially caused by Milano.

Those "back spasms" are flaring up again, huh

Technically, yes.  Was having trouble with the 'Name the Animals' flash cards.

A “Suddenly injury ravaged” QB room with Tua and Penix just feels wrong. Like how could that not be expected

Pick up as many concussions as Tua has, and you're bound to hurt your Penix. 🤔

It's old news by now, but the Panthers lost Nic Scroton for the year due to an ACL tear he suffered in their first TC practice.

The Panthers are off to a bad start. Scourton ACL, Brazzell was carted off non contact knee injury today, and backup TE Mitchell Evans was carted though there is belief his isn’t as serious

AT least 50% of a team's success in the NFL is injury luck/management.

Geez...Penix and Scroton both hurt.  It's dangerous out there! 😳

Gibbs and Robinson both holding in.

Who will blink first?  The second guy will get paid more.

They are going to have a fun august in those front offices.

The hold in is the biggest joke I may have ever heard in sports.  Player doesn't want to practice because they don't like their contract, than be a man and don't show up.

And the team should be, you are at the team facility, you practice unless you are injured.  Otherwise, Go HOME!!  This is NFL football for god's sake.

I can only imagine what Ray Lewis Ronnie Lott or Reggie White, or how about Darryl Talley would do if they saw a teammate standing on the sidelines in uniform and not practicing.  Nice clothesline to the head probably.

Maybe everyone should just play flag football..

Having a torn Scroton sounds bad.

Well.  Maybe someone won't accidentally draft him in fantasy instead of Bijan.  Not like that's ever happened to me multiple times.
