BillsFan619 Posted July 20 Posted July 20 (edited) Rookies report today (July 21)! Go Bills!! Edited July 21 by BillsFan619 3 1 4 7 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted July 20 Posted July 20 This was a very solid draft imo. The Bills got at least 4 draft picks that can be solid contributors in their rookie season. I think Bell, Orr, IGB and Kilgore will leave their mark on the season with very good performances. 1 9 Quote

However, there's a decent chance none of them make much of an impact at all this year. But I think there is a good chance that they do in the future. I don't usually expect much from rookies. 1 2 2 Quote

And a case can be made that Parker, Durant, Doman, and Pride will be the rookies that show out. Regardless of which individual rookies have good campaigns, I expect younger players to have greater opportunity for PT than in most of the previous 9 years. 2 3 1 Quote

Normally I'd agree, but we've seen these positions get hit with injuries every season whether it be Palmer, Hairston or Bernard. If the rooks don't see any time it means everyone is healthy and that wouldn't be a bad thing. 1 Quote

I wouldn't be surprised if the starters on defense play a little more this preseason, then in past years since they are learning a new scheme/system on how Leonhard wants them to play. 1 Quote

That early Thursday game could complicate that. They will need the time together but they can’t push them because of the immediate two games in 5 days. 1 Quote

I've said it before, but 5 years from now I wouldn't be shocked at Kilgore being the best of the bunch. I'm expecting next to nothing from Bell this year. 25-30 catches. What I need to see out of him is ability to separate and a flash play here and there. And I really want to see how he does getting open when the play breaks down and Josh is out of the pocket. 1 1 Quote

They'll have plenty of rest. 1 Quote
