I always find this fun. He goes through every team in the league and identifies the player(s) that would go for at least 1 first round pick. It makes for interesting discussion.

Josh and Mahomes listed as worth SEVEN 1st round picks. About right, imo.

 

The only one close to them is Drake Maye ranked as 6 1sts, which I think most of us will disagree with, but the hype on him is high now so that jacks up his value. We'll see after this next season.

He's young and still getting better. At least that's what the thinking would be.

I’m with you on Maye. That would be a hard pass for me. 3 or less is what I would consider if I needed a QB.

 

I like to look at the list through the lens of, “would I like it if the Bills made that deal.” Chase, Verse, Tuitupulotu and a bunch of others I would love.

I'd want to see him have another good season first, especially after how bad he looked in yhe playoffs.

Agreed. Look at first round picks 

Keion Coleman (33rd pick anyway), Kaiir Elam, Dalton Kincaid, Gregory Rousseau, Ed Oliver, Tremaine Edmunds

Anyone here trading that group Josh? Not a chance.

Of course not. And Beane's said Josh is basically the only person in the building that's untradeable. He even said he'd trade himself before he ever considered trading Josh.

That’s a big part of it. The pendulum has swung too far though. I’d rather make the deals suggested for Burrow or Lamar or Nix or Lawrence or Daniels or Caleb Williams. If it’s 4 first for Caleb Williams and 6 for Drake Maye, I want Caleb every time.

It appears Barnwell doesn’t consider Diggs as an elite wideout while in Buffalo,  could be that noticeable drop off in performance in the post season…, lol

I've made my feelings regarding Maye well known. He can put all the gaudy stats up there he wants...the next time he puts a team on his back will be the first.

 

I think his ceiling is Kurt Cousins...but he could also turn into Rob Johnson.

Yes we have made like 75 1st rd picks and imo only 2 (Bruce, OJ, ok 3 Kelly) even approach that level... so 25 picks to get another player at a comparable level of impact....
