He flies his own Cirrus Vision Jet, although he’s in the market for a new one. The Oregon home where he lives with his college-sweetheart wife, Briannon, and their three children was featured in Architectural Digest two years ago. But you can’t buy a Super Bowl ring. “I know what teams don’t know right now,” Cooks’ agent, Ryan Tollner, said. “He’s working in the dark right now as hard as anyone you could imagine. “He’s a master of controlling what he can control. Even the way the season ended, he was crushed because he wants to win, but I would guess that Brandin would rather have the opportunity to make a play and have the ball come to him. That’s what he works so relentlessly for.” Tollner said plenty of contenders have extended offers, that an exciting choice will be made, but Cooks has emphasized his wish for one team in particular. Cooks is done rewinding that replay, but he wants to run it back with Buffalo. Training camp, Cooks said, is “the purest form of football,” so he intends to be on a roster within the next few weeks. “Obviously, Buffalo is the place I’d love to be,” Cooks said. “I want to prove that to them and have a full offseason with them. Kirby Jackson Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) This still feels like a no brainer to me. Cooks today, is a better player than Palmer and Coleman. He certainly has a way higher floor than both. If one of them passes him, great. If they are the same guys that they have been, Cooks will be the guy opposite Moore. If that’s the case, Josh Palmer starts playing special teams again to secure a jersey on game day. Better yet, trade him for anything to open the cap space. That’s where you build that callus.”‘ I for one hope they bring him back I think that a full off season in the offense & that work with Josh would pay off big time in the chemistry department, that was one thing that he & Cooper didn't have was time to develop a good chemistry with Josh . Cooper in his short time here put 1 play on tape that will go down in Bills history as one of the best almost ever & I feel that given the time to work with Josh could have been a bigger factor for the team, Cooks in his short time here was already making good chemistry with Josh & also put down a very controversial play that will go down as one of the biggest BS calls of all time for the Bills . He too given more time could be not only a great veteran presence in the locker room but on the field as well & I think he could be had for a decent contract when all is said and done . BuffaloBillyG Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I like having vets that can step in and play. But I also like developing younger guys. I'd rather see those reps in practice and in early season games go to guys like Coleman and Bell. However, having him on speed dial in case of injuries to the WR room is smart. My best guess is he's eventually signed to the PS as one of the vets that are allowed. 3 1 Quote

Keon seems penciled in for the Mack Hollins role in 11 personnel with Moore and Shakir. Cooks would rotate in as a deep threat. Bell can be brought along slowly unless he forces his way onto the field. That all fits together nicely. Then we get to Palmer… 3 Quote
