Alternate uni unveiling reportedly scheduled for 27 July - "Nickel City" set

Better not be those *****, uninspiring gray uniforms that leaked earlier this year. Those are atrocious.

Sportslogos.net, which has pretty much taken over uni reporting since Paul Lucas's UniWatch page folded... is reporting that sources are saying these are indeed the new alts. They confirm that it is the same source that leaked the Titans' new set earlier this year.

 

I just don't understand how at any point in the process someone didn't stop things and call them out as the hideous creations they are. Let us now all commence the barfing.

 

The marketing department has ONE job. Give us a nice '90s throwback-inspired set with a red helmet, red socks, etc. And they just refuse to. It's idiocy mixed with hubris.

Getting booed coming out of the tunnel to start the game wearing these puke-inducing threads would be classic. And justified, IMO.

I couldn’t really care less about the jerseys and pants of these. It’s the helmet which would be unbelievably bad imo.

I swear to gawd if it is those ones that 'leaked' last month I'm gonna barf 🤮. I can't see any possible way how it would be a big seller among fans. We are a red, white, and blue team.

For one or two games a season? I think 99% of Bills fans are onboard with that. The combination that saw out the old stadium was  overwhelmingly well-received.

You're going to lose this argument. The majority of guys here are stuck in the early 90's They mentally just stepped out of an iRoc-Z Camaro on the corner of Hertel and Delaware, sporting some acid-washed jeans, an IOU sweatshirt, and a mullet that was just trimmed at Chick's barbershop on Elmwood. They're lighting up a fresh Newport and smell like they took a bath in Drakkar Noir.

That does not look like the Bills. And the blue helmet looks awful. It would look a little better with the red or white helmets, I guess.

Only thing that could save those atrocious gray unis would be a sick lid. The helmet would have to be 🔥. Even then, they are about the least imaginative thing they could’ve possibly come up with. How does the same marketing team come up with the amazing rivalry “winter is coming” jerseys and completely flatline the next year?

Shame away snobby snobberton.  I like the color.  Would take it a step further and have black accents.  I dont get the hate, just seems like a piling on.  The white jerseys from last year sucked.
