It's just disappointing to me because one of the things I fell in love with about being a Bills fan when I was young was the sense of comradery amongst WNYer's and being in it together but between the politics of the world and the divide between the haves and have nots now with the PSL's it just isn't the case anymore 😔 The country is a mess but Bills Mafia is just fine. Must be a total socialist to whine about a billionaire owner reducing the supply by 15% and then increasing prices more than 100% on season tickets, while individual tickets increased 3-4 times in value. Terry is a true capitalist hero, we should just be thanking him everyday that we even have a team. Did I get this right? No Quote

I'm not so sure. We went from an 80k seat stadium to 71k to now 60K. The inventory is tight and because of the PSL's and low ticket volume prices are insane. It will settle down some when the newness of the stadium wears off BUT there is now a divide between the haves and the have not's that never existed before. We may end up all kind of resenting this thing at some point. I hope not but early signs are not great. Quote

I think for the next couple of years fans who used to go to two or three games a year will instead save up and go to one. I know this rubs some people the wrong way, but I do think it was time for the Buffalo Bills in-stadium experience to "grow up" a bit. What I'm hoping is that the tailgaters will continue to do their thing, but a lot of them won't be going to the games so the crowd will be a little less "unkempt." I guess at the end of the day I don't have a problem with fans taking "ownership" over their seats in the new barn when they've shelled out thousands of dollars for them, but I do think them being "angry" about the Bills hosting an open practice for non-PSL owners is sort of silly. 2 Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Over the years the Bills have transitioned from a Volume approach to business (selling a high quantity) towards a Value approach (selling a premium experience). This is consistent with most industries... which doesn't make it right or wrong. One legitimate question is whether there they could have implemented a better balance between the two approaches. 1 Quote

I mean from a business standpoint and for the Bills to remain viable in today's NFL it had to happen. I'm not disputing that. I know Terry Pegula and Roger Goodell have no regrets over this. With that said from a fan perspective, unfortunately there is an ugliness left over from such a major transition that we will have to deal with, of course the fans that got priced out of the stadium are not going to be happy. Also I haven't been impressed with some PSL holders holier than though attitude either. It's a shame but it's the world we live in. 30 minutes ago, JohnnyCash said: Fake talk radio outrage. Fans that are getting priced out of everything are pissed, and some(keyword here) PSL holders have been acting like real jerks about it. It has been a HUGE discussion for the last week or so. Quote

Maybe arguing about who should be able to attend the first event, but a PSL owner not wanting a “peasant” sitting in their seat is about as fake as can be. Will they also be outraged when some 20 something attends a concert, sitting in their seat, while drunk beyond belief? Edited July 11 by JohnnyCash Quote
Just Jack Posted July 11 Posted July 11 I wonder if there is any correlation between the PSL holders being outraged by this third event (second practice) in the stadium, and the ones reselling tickets to all the games. 1 Quote

That call might have been a trolling attempt no doubt but there has still been alot of complaining from the PSL holders about the second practice. The most common thing I am seeing is they are upset because they feel like "it's a breach in their contract" Honestly I think alot of them are just mad because they want to resell as much of that kinda stuff as they can to get back some of the money they just shelled out for those PSLs 2 minutes ago, Just Jack said: I wonder if there is any correlation between the PSL holders being outraged by this third event (second practice) in the stadium, and the ones reselling tickets to all the games. I agree with this to an extent. It’s always been a scam to me that season ticket holders are required to buy preseason games and the tickets are full price. So I can’t blame a ST from trying to recoup some of that money. The appeal of seeing the stadium in year one is driving prices and I can’t blame understand ST trying to get some of their PSL money back too Quote

These people trying to get it all back the first year are ridiculous. Edited July 12 by Just Jack 3 Quote
loyal2dagame Posted July 12 Posted July 12 What is all this haves vs have not crap? It's disgusting. All Bills fans had the same opportunity to have season tickets, whether wealthy or not. Let's not act like the Bills don't have payment plans for both season tickets and PSLs. The lowest cost of 1 season ticket is about the same as buying 1 large Tim Hortons coffee daily for 1 year. Losers need to stop with the have vs have nots. It's about where you spend disposable income. Some people spend crazy money on Starbucks and door dash and then complain they can't pay their rent or bills. This isn't a socialist program, and nobody tells anyone how to spend their money. 1 Quote

I think both parties are to blame and not every PSL holder/non PSL holder fits into these categories but there's been too much whining and complaining from those that can't afford PSL's and there's also been too much sense of entitlement and just being a Dbag from certain PSL holders that are acting like they are better than the fans that can't afford it. It's sad really to see this division amongst the fanbase. I'm sure there are many wonderful salt-of-the-earth people who can;t afford it who are better than the average PSL seat holder. I'm not one of them. Most PSL seat holders are probably better than me. But they shouldn't say that about everyone! Quote

I know someone that lives paycheck to paycheck, yet they will buy Starbucks multiple times a day. If they would just cut out one of those drinks a day, that's an easy $35-$70 extra they would have each week. 1 Quote
sven233 Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I know it will never happen (I think they may have done it once many many years ago), but they should broadcast the Blue vs Red on their website. It's the first event of the stadium and even if I can't be there in person, I would love to be a part of it in some way, even if it is just looking at the atmosphere of a practice. But, I know the Bills hate any video being taken of their practices, so I doubt that this is even a consideration. Quote
