If you think hands on experience will outdo “book learning” every time…put that theory to the test.

go schedule a surgery with a non educated surgeon or dentist.  Then get back to us.

Tell that Dental or medical student to go right in to surgery immediately after finishing his book with out going into clinical's and being with a physician that has done those surgery's 1000 times just let him go in all by him self & you be his first ever surgery & then You get back to me !!

No matter how long you sit and read a book until you have Hands On experience with some one showing you or helping to explain the way it's done you won't be successful !!

Many football players basically have their schooling done for them.

That would not surprise me in the least today . Bu then you have the likes of Bruce (which he had some troubles back in his day) Andre, & Thurman that were pretty stand up guys & have went on to be successful .

Jimbo Cook just finished his degree too so it's not all that come into the NFL that turn out like this guy has !

Released by Lions. Next update will be signed with chiefs

Getting released at this point probably isn’t a very good sign for his legal battle. I suspect, actually guarantee, he never plays another snap.

Yeah the stench on this isn't something any team will want to be a part of

Usually a team lets the legal process unfold some before releasing a guy. That holds especially true for a guy that you used a 1st round pick on 2 years ago. These teams have security teams comprised of former high level law enforcement. They have strong legal teams as well. The Lions certainly investigated this pretty thoroughly, and quickly. There is no “wait and see.” If they thought, “it might blow over” they would have waited it out (at least for a while). The evidence must be pretty overwhelming. His career is over but it sounds like that’s the least of his worries at the moment.

His lawyer didn't do anything a PD wouldn't have done there.  Judge believed he wasn't a danger or flight risk. Simple as that.

I think he will be "not guilty" or receive a soft deal.

Sounds like he is paying Bokai to take the fall and bribed the two females to change their story.

Either walk or cushy deal.

I mean the victim and the attackers are all pointing at him. Hard to defend that

That's funny a pd wouldn't have even read the report by now let alone done such a good job getting him bail and trying to cast doubt on PC. At best a PD skims the basics and has spent about 30 seconds with a client by initial arraignment
