I'm a kid of the 1980's....  Back then I got in the stadium super early andthey warmed up the speakers by playing Neil Diamond Coming to America.  Not sure if they still do that as I am a late arrival these days...

But always loved "Talkin' Proud"!!!

My first thought was Thunderstuck or Welcome to the Jungle

These are the two that I would probably go with.  Another one is Blind by Korn.  The intro to that song is tough.  Watch the Mason Miller walk out on youtube.  Chills!

I'm going to go back more than a few weeks, how about Led Zep's "When the Levee Breaks"...

(Yeah, I've been around for a while...)

That's a good suggestion.

I've been thinking about the OPs question and even though I'm more of the Led Zeppelin generation, a rock song that I thought might be a good fit is Rock of Ages, Def Leppard.

Yeah, I'm old.

Chandman, I remember watching that stupid show as a little kid. The reruns.  That and the Banana Splits.

I watched in reruns as a kid in the 80s. The Monkees were also my first concert in 1996 on their 30th anniversary tour. I still have the t shirt somewhere

I think as Bills fans it would have to be “Don’t Stop Believin’”

Excellent song but doesn't rock enough for the opening song.

Can't go wrong with AC/DC but this wouldn't suck on the big screen (realizing it doesn't rock hard enough and for most people, is interpreted to mean literally burning down the house, which wasn't the intent):

Nothing gets a diverse crowd of 20-something’s going like a bunch of rock music that’s 50+ years old. 😂😂 My goodness, how come everytime we have a thread like this we show how out of touch we are with the younger generation? I’m 45 and I wasn’t even alive when 80% of these suggestions were made. 😂😂 In the spirit of an old rock song designed to excite TBD, “Home Sweet Home” by Motley Crue is the correct answer.

We're implicitly assuming that only old f@cks like us could possibly afford tickets to the opener!
