While we can't change what happened he was down in January and he's still down now in June

And the play is over. You don’t have to get up and take the ball to the sideline with you we got completely ***** as usual. It’s over. Nothing we can do about it now. I wish our own sidelines did more at the time to throw a fit and cause a scene. Way too late now. On to the next.

I will never accept any official explanation as to why a play that seismically important didn't warrant a stoppage of play to make sure they got it right. I've seen refs go under the hood for minutes at a time in preseason games, for crying out loud.

The bad call became more obvious the next day when the Bears got hosed with the exact opposite call

It was a catch. 99.9% of us know this fact. It doesn't matter now.

Man, I was ready to accept the call and move on, but this does seem to be pretty definitive.  This stuff ALWAYS seems to happen to us.

You would think since we have the best player in football, who's jersey sales have been#1 for 2 years, that is on primetime bringing huge ratings....might get calls our way.

The calls are inconsistent here. Generally what was ruled on the field stands. It’s bang bang and by definition, it needs to be conclusive to overturn. I think it was the wrong call but I don’t think it was conclusive in replay. It was more like 75% from my POV. Is what it is at this point. I thought the QB sneaks at KC were much worse. But again, similar situation with conclusive on replay or not. The fact that it’s still debated sort of speaks to that.

It was a forward lateral in Nashville, it was a completed pass in Denver. I watched both plays live and felt the exact same way for both

Clearly, refs are calling in one way one time and the next time they are calling it another way.  There is no consistency and therefore no credibility to NFL officiating.

Didn't the same play happen at least three more times in the following few games and it was ruled a catch each time (exactly how it had been ruled a catch every instance before, too)?

The Pats/Texans game the week following had the EXACT same play called a catch down by contact

The more consistent application is it going to the offense. i just think in a live situation it wasn’t as clear of a simultaneous possession as we often see. Denver coming away clean at the very end made it a very difficult call live. Then the replay even was pretty difficult. Wrong side on a really close play. I don't really buy into the conspiracy stuff but ya, it suck that we have had these calls in our games so consistently. Maybe par for the course on sneaks because it’s always impossible. But it was also the Kincaid screen.

The "He didn't survive the ground" people don't seem to fully understand what happened. How can you survive the ground when the defender rips the ball out AFTER you're already down by contact. There's tons of examples of that same situation happening and they ruled it a catch every time. The refs blew it, period!

The Broncos had been ripping the ball out and celebrating after plays were over all game. They seem to have been coached to do it.

Also I'm pretty sure 'survive the ground' means the ball can't move as you hit the ground which it doesn't appear to
