UConn James Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Josh Allen tops NFLPA's list of most player merchandise sold during 2025 season Also ranked #1 internationally. As I understand, each player gets some % of sales of their jersey. Wonder how much it added up to... 💰. Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Funny, how much $$ Josh made off this really cool Bills thing never crossed my mind. Quote
US Egg Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Wonder if the networks charge more for advertising when he’s playing in the prime time games? I would. 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted June 13 Posted June 13 He’s, arguably, the game’s biggest star. Josh is the best player at the most important position in sports. He dominates the game in a way that no other player does. He has a fun personality and is a human highlight real. 3 4 Quote
GoBills! Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Does this mean we will get the Brady treatment on calls when he whines now? 2 1 Quote
Mr. WEO Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Then there’s this: https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/shedeur-sanders-broke-tom-brady-130015677.html different metric (group sales involving 6 or more players), but his cut (17.7 Million) is nearly double the previous record (Brady). Quote

The Patriots built everything from Tom Brady out. The Bills have tried to build everything else and have Josh cover issues. This year feels like the shift. Let’s stop asking Josh to cover and understand he isn’t “1/11th.” He’s the reason that you’re where you’ve been just like Tom Brady was. The entire philosophy needs to be “keep up with us because we have Josh Allen and you don’t.” Forget about outlasting teams and try to run away from them. 2 1 Quote

Just be completely unstoppable. Run defense won’t matter because no one will be able to run because they won’t be able to keep up that way. Rush the passer and create some turnovers. That’s the shift that I think needs to happen. Throw caution to the wind and try to dominate. You’ll give up some big plays but will make tons. Make it a track meet with lots of possessions. Dare teams to try to keep up with Josh. 2 2 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 (edited) 12 minutes ago, Kirby Jackson said: Who said “purposely trying to bring in bad receivers?” I’m looking at facts. They drafted 1 WR before pick 125 in Josh Allen’s tenure. That’s malpractice. No one is absolving the GM; he wears that. The former HC that you’re always defending also wanted a large investment in the defense, specifically the DL. He wanted to win with 4 and to do that you need top talent there. The Bills overlooked WR to continue giving him DL. They drafted 9 DL in the first 125 picks in that same time frame. The former HC wears that too. I’m on record that they both should have been canned. I’m also on record that McDermott should have been gone after 13 seconds. Unfortunately, I was right. They squandered 3 or 4 more years waiting for his defense to not collapse in the biggest moments. It didn’t change. We will see what happens moving forward but status quo was 100% unacceptable with Josh Allen in his prime. You have to capitalize in this window. At least the Buffalo Bills can say they have the face of the league an the biggest Jersey mover in the league! I have never and I will never take watching the game with Josh Allen for granted! It is a finite thing and I'm glad I got to experience this Edited June 13 by Buffalo716 2 1 Quote

NoSaint Posted June 13 Posted June 13 (edited) Can I continue to vote for “but the patriots….” to not be used quite so heavily? they are unique. Whether it’s tom in the 6th or all the cheating- I don’t know that the pats are super replicable in construction. but I would look to some of the others and think we could pull off the colts playing with leads- having both WR weapons and being able to hurt you out of the backfield. For very different reasons a qb that is very difficult to game plan for each game…. And then a d line that gets up field and some opportunistic guys on the back end? what’s the one lesson I might learn from them? Maybe add a bit more attitude from the top down. I think the Steelers are maybe what we more naturally see with Josh and the cold weather but honestly I think with one more wr we are much closer to the colts construction in a good way. we are like 1 good wr and one edge rusher away from that instead of totally revamping into a defensive identity Edited June 13 by NoSaint Quote
Fleezoid Posted June 13 Posted June 13 If John Madden were alive, he would have moved on from Brett Favre and went to Josh Allen as his new bromance. And I'd be okay with it. 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Josh Allen hasn't made it until some sketch artist does a really bad rendition of him. Ala Tawmee Brady: 2 Quote
