Peterman is expected to become a certified NFL agent within the next few months.

“I got to live through what I’m now getting tested on in the CBA,” he said of his new career path. “Being up and down on a roster, being put on IR, negotiating contracts. I hope I can help a younger person that’s on a similar journey.”

How the hell did he play 6 years on an NFL team? I wish him luck. Maybe he’ll be the Tom Brady of agents.

The kicker:

$7.8 million in NFL career earnings which works out to about $606,000 per interception.

Let’s hope he’s a better agent than a player otherwise he might be a Jerry Magiire with no clients for a while.

one idea for an agency name - 5 star - in honour of the 5 picks he threw in the first half 😂

Nothing bad to say about Peterman at all. Guy was brought in and while he wasn't the answer, he always seemed like a good guy. Team player. Can't recall a bad thing he ever said. I wish him well.

McDermott really started him over Josh Allen

After a fake "QB competition" preseason.

McD should been fired on the spot.

Imo...McDermott wanted him to work out. He always was a " I want a game manager QB" type.

Go back to the archives before the opener in Baltimore in 2018.  I think I was in the minority when I wanted Josh to start opening day. The majority was afraid that starting Josh immediately would "ruin him", a theory that I've never believed in.,

If nothing else, it shows he had absolutely no clue.  Really pathetic how bad he was with talent management and in game decisions, yet he kept his job so long, riding Allen’s coat tails.  This team should have 2 if not 3 Championships by now and McD is the reason they don’t.

He wanted him to be decent enough that Josh didn’t have to be immediately thrown into the fire. It didn’t work out, but let’s not try to change the actual history here. It was never a competition, it was a hope that Peterman could be a placeholder, which turned out to be much more brief than hoped for. McD wanted to get to Josh at QB, but not before he was ready. Life does funny things sometimes.

In this brave New World of TBD, it is inevitable that all threads must devolve into Sean McDermott threads.

Any time Peterman comes up, people will remember how McDermott judged a QB competition between the probable best and worst player in franchise history and chose the worst one.

Do you think there was an open competition to see who the better QB was, or do you think maybe they were hoping to buy some time getting Josh up to speed before throwing him into the fire? Or do you just see an opportunity to rag on McD, so you take it?
