I love the Carmichael hire. Perfect guy to help Joe Brady game plan and see the field. He's done it for years with Peyton

Yes, I think it was a great addition. Same with John Fox. We have two very good Vets to help Joe and Jim LenRod. I'm excited.

I have said this from the jump, Carmichael might be the absolute best/Biggest signing this offseason. Look at what he did with and for Brees in NO. This man can create game plans with the best of them. Next is Leonhard.

So many overlook the Fox hire. Joe Brady understands what he doesn't know and went and got help.  Foxy led two teams to the Superbowl, his insight will be massive.

Pete Carmichael is speaking at the podium now.

Look at how excited he is. That is huge.  This could end up being our best overall coaching staff in a long time. Win the Superbowl and its our best ever.

And do what your talent is best at?  That is McDermott Blasphemy!  You must try to pound square pegs into round holes!

Sean Payton did a lot more for Drew Brees then Carmichael at the end of the day

The end of the day that's the truth.. And Sean Peyton even missed the playoffs like five times with Drew Brees a first ballad Hall of famer

Carmichael and peyton missed the playoffs five times with Drew Brees

We would have ran Sean Payton out of Buffalo

He missed the playoffs five times with a first ballot Hall of famer that's technically the truth

You’re likely not wrong about their impact, but I am 100% certain that what Sean Payton had done with Drew Brees was witnessed every day by Pete Carmichael. He saw what it took to achieve greatness and is taking that experience to this offense. You cannot diminish that.

i’d hate to see this team ever miss the playoffs, but I would take that one Super Bowl win…

I heard DJ Moore is struggling with adjusting to the offense. He Called them “growing pains”

There have been several clickbait headlines suggesting Moore is struggling. Then when you read what he actually said it was “it’s good now, later it will be perfect.”

Of course he's been around a terrific coach and you can absorb some of that

But when you're the right hand man of somebody for 15 years like Sean Payton.. and you never rise up the ranks it's because you're always considered Robin

I think he's good at what he does but Josh Allen is already a superstar.. and developed... He's been around 3 quarterback coaches and offensive coordinators who have become NFL head coaches he's not lacking in coaching honestly

You need an offensive coordinator and I think it's a solid hire.. but the missing piece for the bills Super bowl is adding a few better players

Not this new offensive coordinator at the end of the day.. Josh and Joe Brady are going to keep humming regardless

Joe Brady was Allen's quarterback coach and offensive coordinator and he's still going to be calling plays

Carmichael needs to be the level headed veteran assistant in the meeting rooms and in the film rooms

I wonder what's going on with Jackson Acker? I don't think he's been present on any of the media availability days. For a UDFA trying to make the roster in a specialty role, feels weird.

Honesty would be refreshing!

Maybe you'd be happier to be a Browns fan. How about this out of OTAs there:

Quote

Second-year quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders threw interceptions in Wednesday’s practice, and Todd Monken didn’t sugarcoat his thoughts.

“We threw interceptions in seven-on-sevens, for God’s sakes,” said Monken, a first-time NFL head coach. “I mean, who does that? There’s no pass rush. It was embarrassing.”

They have Fans? Monken already sounds one and done. He might not make the whole season!
