I think something like that happened with the Raiders and Ravens earlier? Rams refused to deal for AJ because of medical concerns; AJ's had to deal with draining his knees over the past several years so that's not a healthy situation. Quote

I think Brown by himself you may be right but add in Doubs who will feast on the intermediate and chain catches while getting teams CB2 .. So I think Browns impact be bigger because the other WR be facing a lesser CB than they did last year and last year NO pats WE needed be doubled and Maye had thread the needle on a lot of throws including a few against your Bills. Bills offensive passing game is more short, based on horizontal stretching of field as opposed to a vertical pass game. And agree Maye has a better deep ball than Josh. Again, what you said is exactly what I mean. We will never know, because your brought in both Doubs and Aj. But in isolation, I think Dj is the missing piece we need to get over the top - if Kincaid and Shakir stay healthy. 3 Quote

Kincaid is the one I think that is much better than what the Pats have at TE right now. I like Henry but he isn’t elite.. I think the WR are a wash at least the top 2.. I don’t know the bills 3 and 4 well enough to judge against the Pats 3 and 4. 1 Quote
nedboy7 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I think the Pats sweep the Bills next season. McD will get all the blame. TBD will implode. 1 3 Quote

We’re both right and we’ll see who ends up right in the end; fair enough? Why the Rams Backed Out Knee Degeneration: Medical research indicated significant "wear and tear" and soft-tissue buildup. Reports highlighted that the knee required regular, biweekly draining during the Eagles' 2024 postseason run. [1, 2, 5] Heavy Financial Investment: Trading for Brown required taking on a massive contract extension. Coupled with the need to offload Davante Adams, the Rams' front office deemed the investment too risky 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 Brown is a Diggs level diva but he will be an Angel this year. Completely changes their wr core because the other guys slot down and become better in their roles. I hate the Pats but they are in a great place. 1 Quote

In fact, didn't Benford do the same thing to a few other Elite WRs after week 6? To be fair I believe it was a torrential downpour that game. Didn't Hurts have zero completions the entire second half? Quote

You have zero credibility when it comes to QB e v a l. The Pats are set up to be a circus. I am going to enjoy watching it unfold. Please make sure you come here when the season turns south. Don’t go into hiding like you did after the Bills exposed the Pats in the playoffs. Just like they would have last year. 2 1 Quote

This year be very interesting if anything changes because of new coaches.. or do they still fall just short of the SB again. Also Allen on one leg would have gotten killed against the Seahawks.. and that’s assuming your bills win in a blizzard in Gillette. I love your confidence but no one knows how it would have ended up.. Both Maye and Allen would have been playing hurt and it be on which D played better. Quote

They improved and reached what we haven’t been able to in 7 years with Josh. They did it in year 2 and have made improvements. We want to write them off because of the dominance we had to endure during Brady/Bellichick. Theyre a good team and a young one at that who couldn’t deliver in the brightest lights. There is certainly room for concern with how badly they played in the Super Bowl but look back to SB48… the Seahawks absolutely destroyed the Broncos who were easily the best scoring team that year; 160 more points than the next. Are these Pats elite? No but they shouldn’t be overlooked. 1 3 Quote

We would have whipped your butts if we'd made it to Gillette in the playoffs last year. But Allen chose that Denver game to have his first playoff problems, most particularly that awful fumble just before halftime that cost them three points which resulted in a tie in regulation. It's a real shame we didn't get that opportunity. But I do like the Brown move for you guys. And the whole Bills defense this year is going to be a question mark, most particularly early in the season. Being in Gillette in October this year while the defense is still trying to figure things out is not ideal by any means. Quote

In a blizzard it would have been anyone’s game… As for this year I expect the Offense, especially the line have growing pains early as they revamped it a lot. So that game in October could be interesting. Quote

In the end that’s not really true. It’s still a first round pick that will be more expensive to sign than the year before. When 2028 gets here, it’s a first round pick that’s gone and what they traded for will be two years older and lost a step or two at his age. Quote
