It was bizarre when he was caught by a broadcast during a game on the bench reading a book.

'Book' can cover a wide range...

My First Book of Animals.

Green Eggs and Ham.

Beezus and Ramona.

The Grapes of Wrath.

The Principia.

The point was he can’t stay on the field.

He's going to be 29.  He’s passed his peak.

He was ELITE from 2022-24.  When they had the same approach as they did on offense as they did the last 2 seasons.  He got his targets and then he didn’t due to injury or pouting.

No.  He’d break.  That’s my whole point.  He’s glass.  He’s older.  And he wants his targets.

Should go well.

Guess we will see. But I swear this board thinks every move by another team is awful and anything we do is genius. If Allen weren’t a Bill and some team traded for him it would be a dumb move because he only has a few years left, is losing a step, makes too many dumb mistakes, had never been to a Super Bowl, etc.

Vegas has had this trade caked in for weeks if not months.

Pats only went from plus 800 to win the AFC to plus 770.

To win the SB they went from plus 1700 to plus 1600.

You leave Russini out of this! 😠

😁

And she was older than 22 at the time!

There’s also a good number of fans here that act just the opposite. Everything a rival does is genius and everything Buffalo does is awful.

Yeah this is the one I would have done. We'd immediately have one of the best WR duos in the league and an elite downfield passing offense. The money for Brown isn't crazy either, Philly is eating a lot of it in dead cap.

Beane has to be right about the WR room. We are relying on one of Keon Coleman, Josh Palmer, or Skyler Bell to be a significant contributor. I would have just traded for the sure thing and dared teams to stop us.

Id say we are relying on one of them to be a consistent, maybe not significant contributor.

All 3 of them, will likely be behind the likes of Shakir and Kimcaid with targets.

Some of y’all have lost your minds.  NE made the Super Bowl with a second year QB and just added an elite WR.  That is a scary team.

At what?

For this season which WR you putting behind AJB from this list as in definitely would rather have AJ?

Puka

JSN

Chase

Jefferson

ARSB

Garrett Wilson

Higgins

Adams

Odunze

Lamb

Pickens

Nicco

Mike Evans

Tet

Egbuka

I have him right after Jefferson.

He has elite potential, but has to stay healthy, "get" the offense, and get the ball.  NE now has a lot of mouths to feed, so 1000 yard and 7 TDs like last year might be really solid for him.  If Maye develops further, they might be tough to handle.

Health is key, but I rather they take the chance and miss than do nothing. Better strike out than to never even get up to bat. For ME as a fan the WR room went from meh to ok this is a decent group they could be hard to defend.. will they? I don’t know but on paper it looks like they could be really really good

With their QB looking like a complete Rex Grossman, in the playoffs.

Funny you say this, when Buffalo was probably 1 controversial catch away from reaching the SB themselves.  And we just added a better WR for our system in Moore.

Moore is going have a bigger impact than Aj, in terms of how they improve their respective offense.

Patriots had a much better WR room LY, compared to ours.  Aj elevates it, but we go from ground 0 to a capable group with Dj.

Rumors had legs. Big win for the Pats here. 90% of this board would’ve done that deal in a millisecond.

I’d still say our receiving group is better.

, and I include our TEs in that.

TE You are 💯 better! The WR room I don’t agree but Allen is a better QB right now so he may elevate them to being better than Maye can right now. But I figure you think Moore and Brown wash eachother, who is comparable to Doubs or however it’s spelled.. lol. (Truly asking)

It was also year 2 for Maye, and the Online turned back into hot garbage again.. oh and without a true WR1 and now the WR will face CB they have a better chance of beating 1 on 1..

I think Moore will be ok, but he isn’t even close to elite.. can Allen get him there? Maybe, but can he beat say Gonzalez 1 on 1 and make them double him like brown will?

Looks like a steal for the Pats.  Eagles really wanted him gone.  I hope for Buffalo's sake that it doesn’t work out for the Pats. It could make for some fun games between the two teams in the next few years.

Probably the cost was cheap because AJ Brown's degenerative knee condition is actually real.  If AJ stays down after his knees are cut underneath him, then we'll know the truth.  Jim Leonard, a relatively small safety, mastered the fine art of taking down bigger receivers and probably he had to cut opponents legs (legally) when the situation warranted it.

I couldn’t agree more 😂 … I definitely came here to find out what a bum AJB is … had they traded for Garrett? He’d be an overrated bum with one foot in the grave too

That would show up in the physical and. Be reason to null and void the trade.. I think something like that happened with the Raiders and Ravens earlier?

I have a completely different view of Brown.

He is an elite downfield and intermediate, huge upgrade over Hollins.

Moore OTOH, is a better all around player.  Bills passing game is more horizontal than Pats, Moore is gonna thrive in our scheme- just like Brown probably will in yours.  But I still think Moore raises our offense, more than Brown does to yours.

I also think Maye is going to have a tougher time going against our defense next yr.  We shall see how much more of a jump Maye makes in Year 3.

More horizontal? The one pass I think Maye has that’s better than Allen is his touch on the deep ball. I think Brown by himself you may be right but add in Doubs who will feast on the intermediate and chain catches while getting teams CB2 ..  So I think Browns impact be bigger because the other WR be facing a lesser CB than they did last year and last year NO pats WE needed be doubled and Maye had thread the needle on a lot of throws including a few against your Bills.
