Is it June 1st?

I think he will help but I don't think it'll be the piece they need to repeat their 2025 luck.

Good move for them but I think Brown is somewhat overrated.  I anticipate his throwing the same kind of hissy fits in NE as he did in Philly.

We can only hope.

When his head is in the game, he’s elite. But he has gathered a rep as a Prima Donna in Philly. Maybe they feed him the ball a lot in NE, but we should all hope not.

If he was about winning, why leave the Eagles and the NFC?

Seems like a great culture fit in New England.

2028 1st?  Very affordable

Seriously.  Who cares about '28 if all you had to give up from '27 is the 5th.  Great move for them.... dunno what the Eagles are thinking here.  Only thing I can think is GM's are openly talking about 2027 capital being untouchable until we've seen some of the college season play out a bit.  Theyre definitely aware of the hype w/ this class, but would mean they fully buy into it themselves.

Fine pickup for the Pats.  Let’s hope Leonhard and our bevy of talented DBs are up to the task.

I think we have the talent in the secondary to stop them.  We just need Leonhard to draw up the proper game plan.

Yeah this is the one I would have done. We'd immediately have one of the best WR duos in the league and an elite downfield passing offense. The money for Brown isn't crazy either, Philly is eating a lot of it in dead cap.

Beane has to be right about the WR room. We are relying on one of Keon Coleman, Josh Palmer, or Skyler Bell to be a significant contributor. I would have just traded for the sure thing and dared teams to stop us.

Solid move for the Patriots getting Maye a true #1 WR and not even have to give up next year's first in what's supposed to be a loaded draft class.  You can't help feel like they're trending up while we're remaining stagnant.  Division's going to be a dog fight for the foreseeable future.

Yep. I wouldn't give my 2027 first. But at this price? Hell yes. All day.

With the way future picks are weighed, it's a 2nd and a 5th rounder. That's a pretty good looking deal for the Pats.
