jahnyc Posted June 1 Posted June 1 At what point do we go "all in" mode? Certainly, the Rams are at that point. Quote
colin Posted June 1 Posted June 1 depending on what other compensation means, this is less than i thought. man the rams LOVE stars, they are pushing this model to the limit. i wish it were us! 1 2 Quote

I would think garrett was worth more than that. 7 minutes ago, DJB said: Man I would have done Groot + 1st + to get him . Rams are loaded I agree with this. That's exactly what I thought. Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted June 1 Posted June 1 That's ok, Beane has a good fairway shot lined up for his 4-iron and he'll probably make par or a bogey at worst. 1 1 1 Quote

Rams are loaded Guess Beane would have too but I think the NFL prefers Verse to Groot. If close I bet the Brown's would prefer to send him to the NFC as opposed to a few hours away too. Garrett also had a no trade clause so why there isn't a reason not to join the Bills going to LA after playing in Cleveland could have factored. Edited June 1 by LLCoolCy 3 Quote
SCBills Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Great trade for both sides. Garrett goes to a win now team on a 1-2 year window and Browns get an ascending, high level pass rusher that better fits their build plus picks. Josh now has to get out of the AFC with the Rams super team on a 1-2 year window likely waiting for him now. 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted June 1 Posted June 1 We didn't have a pass rusher as good as Verse to send back, so I don't think Beane missed big if the Browns wanted a player like that in return. Groot right now doesn't have that value. 2 5 Quote

zow2 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 The Rams are just going for it with their aging yet still very good QB. The Bills? continue to not go for it, don’t want to mortgage the future for the now. 1 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 (edited) Meh - I would have kept Verse and the draft picks. I watched Verse play a lot in LA, kid is a beast. Younger, cheaper, and a cornerstone for any defense. Not sure this moves the needle enough to warrant the cost. Edited June 1 by Alphadawg7 3 1 1 Quote
