1.) Dalton Kincaid: I think this is the year that he is finally able to stay healthy and produce throughout the entirety of the year.. I'm thinking he catches 60 passes minimum and he has his best year as a pro.. (If he stays healthy I think 70-80 catches is definitely possible for Kincaid..)

2.) Keon Coleman: I'm not saying that he will be a Pro Bowler, but I do think that he will prove that he is not a BUST and he has a place in the NFL and I do think that he be a quality weapon opposite of DJ Moore.. I see Keon as a 48-55 catch receiver.. He will not be Josh's first option, but he will likely be a quality WR4 behind Moore, Kincaid and Shakir......

3.) Terrel Bernard: I think he surprises some people as far as what he can do on the field.. He will be the QB of our Defense.. He will not be an elite player, but he won't be a liability either.. He will consistently be in the right place at the right time time because of his intelligence and because of his awareness..

Honorable mentions:  Skyler Bell, Javon Solomon, C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

Opinions vary on how Kincaid, Coleman and Bernard will perform, but they're among the most discussed players on this forum.

Dark horses feel more like Anderson being a stud on the IOL, Carter somehow coming back better than ever, Palmer showing out... I will say I think Hawes might significantly outperform expectations if given the opportunity.

You may be right about Kincaid, I'll give you that, but I don't see anybody banging the Keon Coleman or Terrel Bernard drum..

Being a Buckeye fan i get it.  Just worried his over aggressiveness will takeover.  He had a bunch dpi calls on him.

Then you need to watch some of Joe Brady's press conferences. He and been beating the Coleman drum since the day he was introduced as HC.

100% agree. IGB is probably the guy on the roster, that will play, that I trust the least.

To answer the question on sleepers, here are a few guys that I think outperform fan’s expectations: Sanders, Dorian Williams, Alec Anderson, Max Hairston and Keon Coleman.

Hairston. It will be awesome if he can become a lockdown cornerback

To me, “dark horse” means an unexpected rise to prominence, so I don’t think you can put Kincaid in that category even though I believe he’ll have a great year. He has already proven he makes the offense significantly better when he’s out there; the sole question is durability.

Coleman is clearly the biggest dark horse candidate on offense. Good grief, he has been discussed so much and trashed by so many, and is still a very, very young player. I hope he has grown up a lot over the past year and is able to show out on the field.

On defense, my dark horse candidates are Landon Jackson and Javon Solomon. Nobody expects anything from these guys but if they both become productive parts of the rotation it will be huge for this defense.

I could definitely see IGB.. I just get the feeling that the kid is going to be good.

He could be based on his measurables and aggressiveness. But he's got the Sauce Gardner hands where he's constantly grabbing, and his reputation proceeds him on that. Hope they can coach that out of him.

Dorian Williams - Will be ILB #1 by seasons end.

Cole Bishop - Improved tremendously in year #2, will become a star this season.

Whoever starts camp as Kicker #2 - My faith in Bass has expired.

1. Sky Bell - I am not saying the he is gonna be the #2 guy, but he comes in contributes and shows flashes of what might be

2. Cole Bishop - Takes the next step. I think he comes in and cements himself as the leader of the secondary, this year I think he starts making those around him better

3. D. Walker - I think he begins to dominate and show consistency in his 2nd year as a pro. He has the tools and intangibles I feel like in his 2nd year he stops thinking and starts reacting on instinct.

HM - O' Cyrus Torrence -  Contract year... plays like a demon...

Couple people have mentioned him but I think it'll be Dorian Williams.  Possibly Landon Jackson but think he'll need another year.

For those mentioning Coleman, let me ask:  What have you seen in this kid that suggests he'll ever be more than a JAG in this league?

His speed?  His ability to separate?  His exquisite route running?  His hands?  His work ethic?

Maybe I'm missing something - and I hope I am - but the only thing that stands out to me is his draft status - being our top pick in 2024.

I'm not sure Kincaid can qualify as a "dark horse" candidate.  He's far and away the best TE in the league on a number of metrics, except the one that really matters...availability.  If he's healthy he will be 1st team All Pro, Pro Bowl, etc.  Total stud.  The injuries are the concern.

That said, I'll pick 3 others:

--Coleman.  He was great week 1 last year, then like vanished.  Some of that has to do with McD's process-doghouse.  If Coleman can figure out time management and show up on time, I see a breakout, esp. with Moore and hopefully Kincaid taking attention away from him.

--Dorian Williams.  He is built for a 3-4, ran it in college, and is about to pop during a contract year.

--IGB/Hariston.  I'm not sure either will "pop" others, but the tandem breaks out by foiling other teams.  IBG and Hariston together allow the DC to play matchup against WRs as they both offer elite skillsets at what they do (speed for Hairston, man/press for IGB).
