Check yourself and the actual response. Pegula defending Beane, it could have been any player and Pegula does the same. Its only a valid defense of Beane if the Keon pick sucked. If the pick was great, then Terry's statement would be a criticism of Beane. If the pick was fine, then it would just be a confusing statement. The context here is obvious. Terry directly implies that the Keon pick was a bad decision and that Beane was forced into it. Beane later played damage control and defended Keon because that was a monumentally stupid thing for Terry to say. Here's another example for you: If Pegula comes out and says "Beane didn't even want to pick Josh Allen but others in the room insisted on it and he's a team player", what do you think that press conference is about? 1 1 Quote
colin Posted May 26 Posted May 26 i may be wrong, but i think keon is good at a few things, but only has those few things. he just has no answer to specific corners or types of coverage, he just can't seem to manufacture separation. he's kinda like worthy in that regard, has some big time traits, but like can't adapt and expand his skill set. maybe he wakes up and figures it out, but what is more likely IMO is that palmer and kiky dalton are healthy, and along with moore provide our man destroying package. keon is back up against coverage (as in not press coverage) that he's comfortable with and can make plays happen against. i think keon's most likely future w the team is not suddenly becoming a top flight wr (as mentioned, 8th taken in a clearly over rated WR draft) but simply being put into a roll that suits him and having other people on the team (palmer hasn't produced ish, but his separation vs man is nice, DJ is a man killing monster, and kinkaid is uncoverable) do the heavy lifting where keon may fall short. Ayjent Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I really hope Colemen puts it together and finds himself comfortable in a role where he can flourish on the Bills. However, there is also a part of me that is hoping they can find a willing trade partner and one thought that is intriguing and might require the Bills to give up a day 3 pick in addition is Anthony Richardson. Why? The Bills need dynamic playmaking behind Allen if Allen were to go down. Now AR-15 is not a good passer, except on the deep ball - he is an excellent deep passer, but he is also very athletic and has a style that is very similar to Allen although I would argue he is not as elusive in the pocket nor as deadly of a runner where hard yards are concerned, but I do like the idea of him picking up some of that workload and being sprinkled in and also being behind a guy that plays in an offense that suits his physical abilities and doesn't necessarily change the Bills offense if he were to have to come in. 1 Quote

Screw that guy. 1 Quote

It’s basically the same numbers, little better. But 50/600 3 TDs was Cooper Kupp last year next to JSN….. His numbers may be close to last year, but everyone is gonna say he’s better because of DJ Moore. It’s kind of my point I’m trying to prove. No WRs last year and basically no Kincaid (healthy anyway). Edited May 28 by CEN-CAL17 1 Quote

Without knowing how many sessions he's missed, it is hard to pass judgement. Maybe yesterday was the 1st one he missed and there is a legit excuse for it. If not, and he has missed multiple sessions, all he is doing is hurting himself because it sure sounds like Bell took full advantage of his reps with Allen yesterday. And if Coleman hasn't been to other sessions, and Bell has done the same when the media hasn't been there, it is only good for Bell. 1 Quote

Yeah no judgement passed... just interesting he is gonna do it or he isnt and we arent gonna be the ones who make the call for sure... I just find it interesting and certainly not encouraging... he has run out of grace in my book.. but to your point.. who knows his Mom could be sick or he has the flu whatever... but the situation to me bears attention. I would think that if it was a legit situation the Bills may have said Keon was given the day off etc... who knows. Edited June 3 by JP51 Quote
PoundingDog Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) Take it from the Eagles - Take it e-e-easy, take it e-e-easy. OTAs they want to try different things, which includes different personnel. Maybe Brady wants to see how some plays go with Bell and other receivers. Maybe some specific designed plays not involving Coleman. Maybe they just want to give more reps to the younger receivers to find out what they are good at. Or maybe Keon has a minor injury. Edited June 3 by PoundingDog 1 Quote

Mr. Wonderful Posted June 4 Posted June 4 (edited) If this dude was not a top Bills draft pick he would probably not even be on the team at this point. No speed, unreliable hands, and a low IQ. Reality check. Edited June 4 by Mr. Wonderful Quote
stlbills13 Posted Thursday at 11:32 AM Posted Thursday at 11:32 AM Keon is fine as the 4th WR and essentially 7th target in the pass game and I think thats where he'll be this season Moore and Shakir are obviously ahead. I think Bell will be ahead too Kincaid and Knox will be ahead Cook/Johnson will be ahead Quote

OTA injuries are the worst. Quote
