I understand the Bills are usually ratings gold but the NFL could have given the players and coaches ONE of the holidays off, Christmas since it's an away game.

My thoughts:

1) The opening stretch is brutal. We get the most physical defense in the league, then a 4 day turnaround to another physical team in the Lions. Our first five games are against difficult opponents. The bye comes earlier than I'd like but at that point we might need it. If we can get to 4-2 at the bye I'll consider that a win especially with a new coaching staff getting their bearings.

2) The travel schedule is pretty favorable. No series of three consecutive road games. We get both west coast games out of the way in consecutive weeks so presumably the whole team will just stay out there, and then we get the bye. The toughest stretch is at New England, at Green Bay, vs Chicago, at Denver. Four tough opponents in a row with three on the road and short weeks for Chicago and Denver.

3) Closing the season out against Miami and NYJ is extremely favorable. Two layup opponents to stack wins at the end of the season and get a little respite before the playoffs. I don't think this will be like previous years where we'll have the luxury of resting starters in week 18, it's a brutal schedule and a tough conference.

4) Getting featured on both major holidays feels unusual but Detroit did it last year and Chicago shares the honor with us this year, so I guess that is the new normal for the NFL. I don't mind the holiday games but I do feel for Josh Allen having to miss the first Thanksgiving and Christmas with his newborn. Of course such is life as an NFL player.

5) The #1 seed feels out of reach this year. I think Baltimore has the early advantage. Depends on how good Cincy will be / how healthy Burrow will be, but otherwise they're on a favorable 2nd place schedule, the AFCN isn't too bad, and they get the NFCS which is the most favorable cross conference division you could get. I think for us to have any kind of shot at the #1 seed, at a bare minimum we'll need to go 6-0 in the division and beat Baltimore.

Thanks to some accurate leaks I was able to grab decent priced hotel rooms for 3 8:20 starts - thanks all!

Glad to see we got 4 1pm starts in there as well.

Chiefs have had that treatment.  It’s part of being relevant

Is it just me, or does anyone else feel the Bills schedule release videos are not as good as other teams?

Looks like a tough start, but having 3 home games in a row to start is pretty nice. They'll have a mini bye after the lions too, so that's good

Outside of about 6 games, this schedule is brutal. Some great primetime games, but if they make it through this season healthy and as the #1 seed, I'll be extremely impressed. That's a gauntlet...

Ticketmaster is crawling right now.

Sideline seats for preseason are around $300

Regular season sidelines lowers are around 2k

Wow.  Very difficult schedule.  Coming in 2nd place last year, makes this year more difficult than if we would have come in 1st.  Hope we can get out to a fast start

In the irony department my 6 year old has been talking about the stages of a butterfly for a week straight now with a heavy emphasis on the chrysalis.

Not going to hate on the video too much but I see we are going all in on the Canadian market again.

Never been terrible but this year was definitely a dud.

I don't like the Christmas games, period. Isn't there enough football during the season already? Do you think the team is excited about this?

"Hey, Josh, great news -- you'll be the marquee game for Christmas. That's right, you're gonna miss your kid's first Christmas. National television, though, am I right? Haha, go get 'em, tiger!"
