Slippery Rubber Mats Posted May 14 Posted May 14 oh nice for some reason I was convinced all the preseason games were away this year because the stadium wouldn't be ready Quote

The first event held there will be the Blue & Red scrimmage during training camp. Season ticket holders will get tickets to that as their trial run for stadium. Talked to my rep about it last week Quote

It may be against the Bears, I thought there was a joint practice w them this year which would make sense to play after the practice week. I could very well be wrong but thought I remember that was taking place Quote

I don’t care who they are playing in preseason. I’ll go to see the stadium, so I prefer having two opportunities this year. I’m sure I’m not alone. They will be the hottest preseason tickets since…….somebody cared about preseason. 18 minutes ago, That's No Moon said: It would be pretty tough to have them in the old one. Those fields in Europe are one thing, but I think the NFLPA would finally have to speak up here! 1 Quote
Rubes Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Dang it, I need dates! Probably safe to assume the first home preseason game will be the week after the Blue & Red game, no? Usually a Friday or Saturday. Quote

I care more about going to a preseason game to see the stadium than being at a Thursday night game for an opener. I’d rather watch that on TV. Quote

I seem to recall that as well, but I can't remember how much later before they announce them. 11 minutes ago, Augie said: We all have droughts. Have you tried any of those dating websites? Don't know why that came to mind. I want to be there for the first games in the new stadium—the first official game (preseason) and the first official regular season game. The preseason game will be nice, like you said, so you can get there a little early, check the place out in a more relaxed fashion, no stress, leave when you want, etc. 1 Quote
