extrahammer Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I don't know about other folks, but it hasn't been discussed enough how we're about to have real man vintage football again in Buffalo. That will be evident by one noticeable sign... grass stains. Yes, our numbers, our white pants, our white helmets, will all be doused with grass stains come November every year. As a sports photographer, I'm very hyped about this and think it's something we've not experienced since War Memorial. 7 1 3 3 Quote

If you understand me 😄 Edited May 13 by NI Bills Fan 4 9 1 2 Quote

H2o Posted May 13 Posted May 13 It should be better for the players health wise as well. Should equal to less lower body injuries. 2 1 Quote
Rubes Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Better than the dirt stains we used to see a lot when they played in places like Oakland that shared a baseball field. Quote

Augie Posted May 13 Posted May 13 11 minutes ago, Sweats said: ...........the facilities washing services better be on the top of their game That’s quite a spin cycle! I bet it’s done by now. I do like the idea of seeing evidence that they are playing on real grass. It would ideally be the surface everywhere, imo. But I am so used to the turf that now I wonder what unforeseen consequences may arise, whether it be a slower field or slippery when wet, etc. Like our defense, I was used to something for so long that something new sounds refreshing. 1 1 Quote

Huh? What? Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Grass stains as a kid of the early '70's ruled, it was those brown stains that the maternal parent hated on laundry day Quote

ChevyVanMiller Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Grass will be great but, with a heated field, we’ll never see snow angels again. 1 2 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Remember that mud field game… I think at Pittsburgh 10-15 years ago maybe. Non Bills game. A punted football stuck into the field nose down. I remember that right? Quote
