Really - how many people in the US care about our stadium opening?  Personally, I think it's a loser with grass and 60,000 fewer seats!

60,000 fewer seats?!? Damn, they lied to me. This new place will be smaller than where the Sabres play!!

Any concern the stadium may not be ready so it would be an easy switch to Detroit? Would suck from a home game perspective, obviously, but Detroit is kind of the emergency fallback anyway.

No they said it's already almost fully complete

It will be ready by game day 100%

I hate it being on TNF..  fine with the Lions as opponent.  But the stadium opening night should be on SNF in my opinion.

Dolphins and Lions listed on tickmaster.  Lions game has a date but Dolphins is listed before Lions game so you may be accurate with Dolphins in opener.  No other games listed

This sounds good?? Play the Dolphins 1pm in Miami on a Sunday in September and then play at home 4 days later. Do you think the Bills will be exhausted Sunday after standing in 100 degree temperature all afternoon? Let's hope it is not Miami.

First home game on a Thursday night? Really?

Yeah I'm not a fan. Oh well, getting our mandatory TNF game out of the way early is for the best.

Well week 2 on a short week, damn it’s early for that

Much rather it be early than later in the year.  Players more fresh and healthy early in the season.

I'm not surprised we got a night game, i'm surprised it's THURSDAY. The red-headed stepchild of night games.

Hey! It beats a home game in Europe!

Looking at the previous new-stadium openers:

Vikings (US Bank stadium): Sunday Night Football
Rams (SoFi stadium): Sunday Night Football

Falcons (Mercedes Benz stadium): Sunday Night Football

49ers (Levi stadium): Sunday Night Football
Raiders (Allegiant stadium): Monday Night Football
Jets (Metlife stadium): Monday Night Football
Cowboys (AT&T stadium): Sunday Night Football

Colts (Lucas Oil stadium): Sunday Night Football

Arizona (Saint Farm stadium): Sunday Night Football

We are the only team in the past 20 years to get a Thursday Night game to open our new stadium.

Just don’t let Josh play opening weekend. If Kyle Frigging Allen is the starter for the stadium opener, I’m selling the seats I don’t have yet.

It’s week 2.  Everyone is watching.

Wasn’t the game of the year last year Rams-Seahawks a TNF game?

Don’t love a Thursday opener, but probably better than a Monday. They were definitely putting it prime time.

I would say Thursday is worse than Monday. I wonder who got SNF in week 2?

I actually think that’s a swing and a miss. Should be a Sunday afternoon game that Dad’s can bring their kids to for memories. Most parents, rightfully so, aren’t bringing their kids to a night game.
