I bet we open at the Jets or Dolphins.

Dolphins and Lions listed on tickmaster.  Lions game has a date but Dolphins is listed before Lions game so you may be accurate with Dolphins in opener.  No other games listed

I don’t know how to hate this anymore than I currently do.

Short rest in week 2 against a really tough opponent to open the new stadium.  I’m sure it’s great for the NFL, but bad for the fans and the Bills.

Raise your hand if you aren’t working Friday September 18th 🙋🏻‍♂️

Sunday Night pregame is a recap of the day’s games. Thursday (or Monday) gives a multi-hour pregame show with focus on the new stadium.

I don’t really care about a multi hour focus on the stadium so much as a win and a pleasant day.

Outside the box choice for sure.  Opening our stadium against an NFC opponent on short rest in Week 2.....

I guess I would rather have short rest early in the season rather than late, though.  It's not the opener I think many of us had in mind, but it's probably going to be a great game.  I kind of wish it wasn't against such a good team, but it is what it is.  No easing into it all......  Gonna have to gel and be great early!  GO BILLS!

Any concern the stadium may not be ready so it would be an easy switch to Detroit? Would suck from a home game perspective, obviously, but Detroit is kind of the emergency fallback anyway.

yup.

That’s the NFL’s motivation though. They already look at us like zoo animals. This gives them a few hours of pregame to observe the animals in their new habitat.

Well that’s f-ing stupid. I’ve got a work event I cannot miss that night that’s been in the works as long as the stadium. I can’t believe they’re opening the place on a goddamn weeknight. Oh well, at least I’ll make money selling the tickets.

Priorities, James…😉

But seriously, hate that for you.

Really - how many people in the US care about our stadium opening?  Personally, I think it's a loser with grass and 60,000 fewer seats!

I'm not surprised we got a night game, i'm surprised it's THURSDAY. The red-headed stepchild of night games.
