Tom Brady, who retired 3 years ago, has more wins since 2020 (37) than the Jets have (28) in that same time frame!!🤣

Jets always seem to "win" the offseason, but it surely doesn't translate to much once the actual Football starts being played....

I wonder if the Dolphins waited a few more days would they have entertained bringing in McDermott instead of Hafley.

Robb, I was speaking with my middle son who fell in love with the Cards when he was 7.  It’s a long story, but that was the year he played one of his flag football seasons as a Cardinal (it was the NFL flag league).  My father bought one of his tix for a football pool of whatever team won the SB would win a ton of $.  Well, AZ played that SB against the Steelers in Tampa.  I coached both boys in the flag teams before tackle.  Larry Fitz rented one of the homes in our gated community for privacy SB week.  One day he was gracious enough to meet the boys for a few minutes.  He didn’t want pics, but did throw the ball around for a couple of minutes.

Well, that was it.  Ryan fell in love with the Cards, so the jist is he wants desperately for the cards to go one and done with their HC and hire McD.  I told him that’s a good idea as McD is great at changing a culture, building it the right way, and can take them so far.  The Cards, the Jets, or a couple of other teams would be perfect for him.  I don’t see him having the personality for the media.

Besides, the guy still loves it.  If some of the people on this board loathe McD, that’s your prerogative, but what he accomplished here was remarkable.  A team is more than just one player.  The apologists always want to credit Allen alone for the Bills success.  I disagree.  Was it time for a change?  Maybe, but we were miserable before McD.

Glenn is there to finish the tank. They have 3 more 1sts next year when they will get their QB. They just had 3. With Glenn calling the shots they’re destined to pick early.

The Jets need to get the OL right and they need a QB. Geno is gonna be trash. Klubnik is surely not the answer either. They have weapons across the board with Wilson, Cooper, Mitchell, Sadiq, and Hall. It probably won't be until next year they get that guy with their three 1st Round picks. They also will have over $100M in cap space going into the 2027 offseason. The future is potentially bright for them if they hit on a QB in 2027 and get the OL straight. They clearly have the means at their disposal to do so. The question is whether their scouting staff and the GM will get it right.

Brady has more wins in The Ralph than a lot of Bills QBs did as well in their career.

Guy's record was 33-3 vs the Bills all time.  And one of those losses he wasn't playing the whole game

This def seems a look yourselves 1st in the mirror kind of thing.

The Jests need new ownership.   Woody Johnson has owned the team for 20 years with few winning seasons, and except for a couple of playoff seasons back in 2009 and 2010, the team has been a hot mess.   I think that the emergence of Sam Darnold as a legitimate NFL starting QB after his total failure in New York is the cherry on top of the Johnson's manure pile in Met Life.

Many fans forget how bad the Bills were in Ralph Wilson's last decade  of ownership when he essentially gave control of the team to Russ Brandon.

The Detroit Lions fans suffered for years with losing teams until Sheila Ford Hamp took over the team from her mother Martha Firestone Ford in 2020.

I think that the Chicago Bears also got new ownership just a few years ago before they started getting their ducks in a row.

Off topic, but I actually like the Jets roster. Two biggest holes are at the 2 most important spots- QB and HC along with a boundary corner.

Glenn should have been fired week 5 in London. He smiled smugly as time ran out in the first half. The entire

jets offense just started at him confused as they needed like 15 yards for a FG and he threw up a white flag. They lost the game by 2 points.

Hiring a former DB as a HC and not getting a single interception in 17 games is almost an accomplishment. He is clearly out of his depth and if he makes it to end of the season, I’ll be shocked

It would be great for the cardinals. However….. The best part would be seeing McDermott’s sideline outfits. If they don’t close the dome he’d be out there with the gardening hat, long sleeves, and 80’s white nose sunblock.

He never did that for Bills games in open stadiums. Just for training camp because of the long hours out in the sunlight.

I think he may have done it once or twice in early season 1pm games in Miami, too.

Tank for Arch? Its so obvious

Didn't Arch already say he'd never play for the Jets? I saw that on the internet, so it must be true. Also, it seems to me that Dante Moore chose to go back to college rather than play for the Jets, who almost certainly would've drafted him with the 2nd pick.

Yeah. That Jets team is in many ways worse than the drought era Bills because everything about them is dysfunctional and they've become a joke we all enjoy because they always end up doing the most stupid things.

You're right that McD might struggle with the media there but he would be a great option to just get them playing like a professional team again. Their fans would build a statue of him if he got them to the playoffs because at this point they just seem to talk about getting the number 1 pick in the draft rather than their odds of going to the postseason, which says it all really.

I agree that the Cards would probably be a better option for him as that org is not nearly as crazy as the Jets. Imagine if he took over the Jets and went to a Super Bowl before Josh Allen. Ha, that really would send us all over the edge

I seriously doubt that McD would take the NY Jets job simply because of NYC, the media bubble there, and the owners. I say owners because it's not just Woody Johnson, as it's also his son wandering through the locker room giving players crap about their performance.

The man will have his choice of jobs at the end of this season, and even if none were available but the NY Jets, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't take that job.

Five hot seat teams: Lions, Bengals, Bucs, Colts, Jets.

Then you have Carolina, who won the division at 8-9 with Tampa and Atlanta, so there could be a change there. The 49ers finished 3rd in their division at 12-5 behind both Seattle and the Rams, 12-5. Who knows with 9-7 GB, the 7-9 Cowboys, and 5-12 Commanders?

Me too. Long term, I think they end up the biggest threat in the division. That assumes they hit the QB next year. They’ll get a good young offensive minded HC to pair with him (Udinski or Webb maybe). They just have so many assets.

Nah. Thing is number one, Brady isn't winning any games in Buffalo in the future. That reign of terror is over. The Jets failure is ongoing. And number two, eff the Jets, their fans and their media.

I REALLY hope they get Arch. He's got NFL bust all over him IMO. His last name will get him way more opportunities than his play will.
