James Cook’s deal is looking better. You can sign them early at a discount, or take the Jerry Jones approach and just hope to get more media attention, regardless of what’s best for the football team.

I would bet that Cook is steaming about this. Hall is good but as good as Cook

It's different situations I'm sure breece Hall would look very good playing next to Josh Allen

But it's still a ridiculous contract to give to a running back on a team that's not close to contending...

It's the nature of the business for other players to get paid more than you cook got paid he should be happy.. Hall just committed robbery

It's so dumb they trade away guys who are complete studs to sign a runningback to that contract

I'm glad the Jets are the Jets

Breece and Folk were the only good Jets last year

If all you’ve got is a RB……I feel sorry for the RB. He’s gonna earn it the hard way.

What was Cooks contract ????? I think the Bills got one heck of a deal. I just hope he doesn't come back & want more now ...

Every Jets offseason move is what happens when the people making decisions don’t have enough job security to engage in long-term planning. They are trying to get to 8-9 or 9-8 to survive another season.

I think it’s fine. He’s a good player. Probably an over pay but that’s what happens in today’s world. There is a lot of wiggle room for a franchise like this, not having to pay for a QB. Makes sense for them to retain good young talent. The combination of Hall, Garrett Wilson, Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper could be a legit arsenal if they get someone competent to run the offense.

Oh btw they have 3 first round picks next year, so ple

rh of assets left to spend.

PS I think ppl just want to assume it’s terrible because it’s the jets. Rightly so - they’ve earned that. But I don’t think it’s an awful move for a team trying to find their footing

Really good player they likely had to pay extra to stick around. Hall has made noise he wanted out of Jersey, but at that dollar amount I see why he's staying put.

I get it. He's their best playmaker. Gotta keep him in place. But they will run him into the ground before this contract is over.
