Royale with Cheese Posted May 7 Posted May 7 He better danna well be good. We've missed on our last few FA DE depth acquisitions. 4 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted May 7 Posted May 7 One of my Shrine Bowl standouts back in 2020. Been a productive rotational end in KC. 1 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Sure, why not. Didn’t have him on my bingo card but a solid NFL player. At this point of the offseason, that’s a good thing. 2 5 Quote
billsfan89 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The Bills at Edge even after the Parker pick could use a little back end depth/competition. If Hoecht wasn't coming off a major injury I would say the Bills were "fine" at Edge going into the draft and flushed at Edge coming out of it. But with some uncertainty with Hoecht and TJ just a rookie some competition there isn't a bad idea. 3 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted May 7 Posted May 7 We have some edge guys at OLB, need DE's for this 3-4. Bring in all the pass rushers!!! 5 minutes ago, billsfan89 said: The Bills at Edge even after the Parker pick could use a little back end depth/competition. He can bet guards in the run game, be an inside pass rush and cover the middle 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) KC wanted him to commit a bank robbery or a liquor store holdup in order for him to be retained. Edited May 7 by Ridgewaycynic2013 5 1 18 2 1 Quote

Solomon could surprise, but not counting on that. And Hoecht certainly won't be at ILB. He's a good scheme fit for Leonhard's system at edge / possibly hand in dirt in under looks. I haven't heard much on his rehab progress. Likely a PUP candidate. I like our group of DL for this new front --- Ed, Walker, TJ getting most of the interior 3 snaps --- and Landon, Carter/Mathis, Zane as depth. Landon hopefully beefed up over the offseason, he played this exact position at Arksansas/4 4i tech. I could see us adding to both spots to be honest. 2 2 Quote

Which Bills Player Will Surprise This Year? Without hesitation, Roos said Salomon. DeWayne said Solomon is the strongest in the weight room. That he puts up crazy heavy weights. Solomon will be much better in a 3-4 than him trying to be Hoecht. There only one Hoecht, and Lorenzo Alexander is not returning. 5 1 2 Quote

He was the opposite of what we had at the position with some bend and twitch, and it frustrated me that my visions of what he might do never materialized. I’d take a poor man’s Dwight Freeney, but I wouldn’t hate being a rich man! A guy can dream. 2 1 Quote

Just flex him all around. The Parker pick helps that by having someone off the bench after Groot/Chubb at EDGE but adding in a piece like Danna gives you some confidence in the competition around Solomon and Parker for those back end snaps. 2 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 cool bring him to camp. He's been good enough to be rostered by KC for a while Quote
Robert Paulson Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The issue was how the coaches wanted him to play. Square peg/ round hole Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted May 7 Posted May 7 No way !! I don't want him taking any snaps away from Landon Jackson !! 2 Quote

Im not counting on him to do anything. Quote
