BillsFan4 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 This one should be a ton of fun to watch! 2 good, fast, young teams and 2 extremely passionate fan bases. It won’t be nearly as much “clutch and grab” hockey as it would’ve been against Tampa and was against Boston. 1 1 2 Quote
ChevyVanMiller Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I love the march through the old Adams Division opponents on our way to the cup. 1 3 Quote

Fleezoid Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I was trying to find the start of the 2nd round and nothing. I turned to AI (I hate AI). But according to that, it's Wednesday 7pm. Quote

ChevyVanMiller Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Insane that the Canadians won that game tonight with an NHL record-low 9 shots on goal. Here’s hoping they continue that pedestrian shot level against the Sabres. 2 Quote

Doc Brown Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Either matchup was going to be difficult but I'm glad they sleighed the Lightning. They were the better team (at least tonight minus goaltending) and got some unlucky bounces. Only thing that stinks is you'll pry have Canadiens fans dish out a lot of money to see a game in Buffalo. 2 Quote
B-Man Posted May 4 Posted May 4 For God’s sake don’t sell all the tickets to Montreal fans like you do during the regular season. It’s like 50/50 then. Just say NO !! Quote

Just say NO !! It would help if the team weren't using dynamic pricing to bone its own fans. I got through the Ticketmaster queue to be able to buy them from the team on Saturday. $400+ for the last row of the upper deck. There's no shot that's normal face value, even for Round 2 of the playoffs, and they were NOT resale tickets. 1 Quote
Buffalo716 Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Montreal is probably the most passionate hockey fanbase in the world They travel well and they are extremely loud in their Barn.. winning in Montreal is going to be a lot tougher than it was in Boston That arena in Boston sounded like regular season atmosphere.. Montreal is going to be hectic I think Buffalo has more skill will they execute will be the difference Quote
WotAGuy Posted May 4 Posted May 4 One thing I really miss, now that I’m watching the Sabres after 20 years of disinterest, is hearing Ted Darling say “The shot goes over the glass and into the crowd; there’s a puck for a fan from Hamilton, Ontario”. IYKYK 2 1 Quote

Just say NO !! With fuel prices, inflation & Main Street taking it up the economic wazoo? I don't blame them one bit. Make as much money as you can... Hopefully it gets people through a year or more! I would sell in a heartbeat if it meant making $1,000s more! If people don't like... TPegs, billionaire exordinaire can buy up the tickets at going market rate & give them back to Sabres fans. You know what a "sunk cost" drain it is on a small market & fan base like Buffalo? And we aren't even guaranteed to win... We want people to still take it economically on the chin at best possible time to improve themselves financially?? Give me a break. We have too much invested in money, emotion, heartbreak... People need to at least cover their butt. 1 Quote
