One Buffalo - Sabres advance

I am so amazed by the Sabres.  I am old enough to have been thrilled by the French Connection and sadly lost interest in the past 8 years or so. I havent watched the NHL much lately either.  
The Sabres seem so disciplined in their puck handling system, it is incredibly impressive.  They never give up.  

Do they have a chance of going to the finals?

Went to my 1st NHL game about a month ago when they came to DC to play the Capitals. They had just clinched earlier that day, and then promptly proceeded to get beat down 6-2 lol and I loved every second of it. 

 

NHL guys are the epitome of world class athletes and the game flow is simply amazing. I also love the 18 min intermissions. Such an awesome in-person experience. 

 

I'm officially a fan and loved watching them beat down the Bruins. Bonus points because my boss is a Masshole lol

It'll be Montreal in round two. Bring it on ya French Canadian weenies.

For those of you newer to hockey, puck luck is a thing.  Montreal advanced despite getting only 9 total shots in game seven.  That number is insanely low.  Also, sometimes one or two dominant plays can make a game.

 

I have always loved the Sabres, but this iteration is particularly easy to love.  They are super fast and they skate hard.

Big Bills fan here but when it comes to hockey, I will get behind the hometown team 100% of the time. It should be great hockey starting Wednesday night.

You guys have one hell of a team. The young Habs will have to dig deep to win this. Good luck to all!

Not only that, I believe they are the 3rd or 4th highest chance to win it all. Not going to be easy though. Montreal is young, talented, and fast. Just like the Sabres. Then if ya get to round 3, Carolina will most likely be waiting and they are just a pain in our axxes and have been since there existance.
