DrDawkinstein Posted April 30 Posted April 30 (edited) But did he do coke in his office? What other UT players were on the team? Goodwin, Aaron Williams... edit: Looked it up. The only Texas players on the Bills those years was Goodwin and Aaron Williams. So he was definitely talking about you Marquise! Edited April 30 by DrDawkinstein 3 Quote

MiltonWaddams Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I will always have a soft spot for Goodwin. Tragic loss of his kids. Had some great highlight moments and games. Also, he is 100% right. Marrone is a prick. 6 8 Quote

TheBrownBear Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I don't know. Marrone may be a prick, but it sounds like he might have just been taking the piss here with Marquise...saying something very specific about the alma mater of a guy sleeping in the meeting room to get his attention? I could see myself doing something similar in that situation. 2 Quote

thenorthremembers Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Calling people soft and then quitting on the team is a pretty interesting move. 3 3 2 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted April 30 Posted April 30 (edited) We all knew it right away around here. Marrone would rather lose games doing things his way than win games doing things someone else’s way. And he’d crap on everyone around him so that the expectations were always lowered, and if the team exceeded them, well he just must be Saint Doug for making miracles happen. And when the team lost, his attitude was “What were you expecting, a miracle?” We’ve all had managers like him in our lives. A true POS. Edited April 30 by Coach Tuesday 4 3 1 Quote

transient Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Obviously Marrone was obviously an obviously thin skinned prick and obviously he obviously let obviously everything get to him… obviously. 1 1 5 Quote

Bill from NYC Posted April 30 Posted April 30 Brandon probably hired Marrone because he was his syracuse butt buddy. They were quite the losing pair. He coached at Alabama for one season as the offensive line coach. Of course I have absolutely no way to verify this but from what I heard, Saban was not at all pleased with him. 2 1 Quote

T.E. Posted April 30 Posted April 30 He was one bad officiating call in New England's favor (whatta ya know!) From going to the Super Bowl with Blake Bortles. Still hard to believe. Quote
