He’s a fullback turned linebacker turned fullback. Super athletic special teams value. Coming off a pretty serious injury.

I like it, he was with the Eagles for three seasons as a full back and LB including getting a ring in 2024. He got hurt early in 2025 after having a productive special teams year in 2024. I think as competition with the UDFA FB you could do a lot worse. What's going to be key for replacing Gilliam is his special teams ability.

He has a chance to make the team. I will believe Joe Brady will forego a fullback when I see it.

Same. Gilliam will be difficult to replace in a few ways, so it’s going to be interesting to see how the offense evolves to solve that. Particularly with the rush push.

Recent injury history is pretty bad

Sounds like him, Kincaid, and Palmer will get along well.

We were at 91 before this, so there has to have been a corresponding release.

I think if the plan was to not have one, we wouldn't have bothered signing a UDFA FB and now a vet FB.

I think even if we didn't and neither make it - Hawes would be utilized in a similar role.
