He should also have NIL Money, use part of that to get an insurance policy, invest quite a bit of it just in case. And If I were him I would play for the UFL, it gives him an opportunity to continue to increase his skillset and show scouts what he can do. Next, he is just going to have to deal with the fallout of what he has done, its going to follow him forever like it did Pete Rose. Be honest, be sincere and he will have to me above board with everything, including parts of his personal life. 1 Quote

We knew someone who sued the big bank she worked for over some compensation/bonus stuff. Significant money and she may have even been correct. It didn’t matter. If you sue your employer, they tend not to forget about it. It did not end great for her. Kids can bet on anything these days right from the phone they can’t put down or take their eyes off of. Not just the big game tonight, but they can bet on the number of inches of rain that will fall in NYC this Sunday. That makes preseason gambling look healthy! They can get hooked on things easily, and as @DrDawkinstein has pointed out, it’s hard to get that horse back in the barn. I think at the very least they should implement a ban on television ads for gambling services like they did with cigarettes in 1971. At least that shows they are paying attention and trying to do something about it. Instead, the FCC is busy threatening networks over comedians. Edited July 9 by Augie 1 1 Quote

Given that legal gambling is in bed with the NFL and is part of everyday culture of millions of NFL fans, the temptation for this kid to gamble will be higher than ever. Who wants to trot him out under center? He's a mediocre enough QB to credibly shade his output to the under every Sunday. Quote
