Phillips is hopefully done here, but I'd take DaQuan Jones back in a heartbeat.

He was a grown-assed man last year and there's a case to be made that he was the 2nd best player on the Bills D over the course of the season.

Unfortunately he seemed pissed off about McDermott being fired so we may have burned that bridge with him.

DJones hasn't been signed, our DL guys are tight knit. Money talks. Id offer him 2 years for a reasonable rate. He doesn't show up on the stat sheet but he makes an impact.  I'm a fan of his.

 

He's one of the only players on the DL that never got bullied. Everyone else would get taken to the woodshed occasionally.

Joe Schoen is still the Giants' GM.  In what universe is he trading away the 6th overall pick from the 2024 draft who had an outstanding rookie season with over 100 receptions for 1204 yards and 7 TDs?   Nabers only played in 4 games last seasons because of injury.   There has been talk of Thibodaux being moved but not Nabers.

Yeah, There is no universe that Nabers could be had, he is a superstar in the making.

As long as the price is right; Milano White Lawson,  Lawson still has something left in the tank. Milano and White are good injury fallbacks. Neither have to play a ton during the season, just enough to be ready and would be great insurance come playoffs.

I want Tre and Milano back. Especially Tre. He definitely has a a couple years left in the tank. I want those guys to be part of the team when they win it all. It’s personal for me

My bad I was thinking of the lb position & Shaq Thompson, he was released by the Carolina in 2025 after 10 seasons and had been dealing with major injuries in 2023 and 2024, but was productive last season for the Bills. Hence something in the tank statement.

It's interesting because I felt like Beane was specifically Drafting like he knew Thompson and Jones would be resigned after the Draft...

Readers assumed to already have a deal with the NYG. He visited them recently, it went well and supposedly he’ll sign soon. The NYG didn’t draft any NTs or big DTs either

I don't think Milano is a fit in this scheme imo, that being said give me ILB Shaq Thompson, NT D.J. Reader and I guess Cooks and we should be ready to roll. I'm still not thrilled with the WR but it's better than last season for sure.

I've mentioned DJ Reader and ironically McDonald's pro comp is Reader. We don't have any help for Deon except maybe Mathis. I'd love to see Logue come out swinging.  I think we saw the best of Ed early last year. Who knows about TJ... and Carter supposedly hulked up although I don't think I've seen him on the field for a minute.

 

I don't wanna hear how Groot and Chubb are gonna be either side of the middle. I fully expect 3 DTs flanked by the DEs that rotate with OLBs. Call me ignorant, but I don't think we're gonna see Wright , Bruce, and Phil.

 

I just don't see how they can look at DTs and say,   We good...

Yep - we are at 88 with several invites to rookie minicamp.  
 

So maybe 1 or 2 FA guys, but my guess is some of the guys we talked with will not be back.
