We are approaching that time. Starting tomorrow (Monday) at 4:00, anyone signed no longer counts against the comp pick formula. We are going to see another wave of FA. We have talked a lot about Cooks, Tre, Milano and Shaq. I suspect a couple of those guys will be back (or at least could be).

Who would you like to see the Bills add now that the dust has settled on the draft?

I would be happy to bring Shaq Thompson back. Bobby Okereke and Germaine Pratt are still out there too. Although they'd have to move Bernard to WLB for one of those players to make sense and I'm not sure that's the plan. They definitely still need to add somebody there, Bernard and Williams as the two locked in starters is barely NFL worthy.

I am glad Beane didn't force an early pick at off ball LB which was my fear entering the draft. He'll be rewarded for his patience by being able to sign a cheap vet option this week. He wisely used his early picks on players that could become $20M AAV players if they develop right.

Milano, Tre, Cooks.  Min deals or nothing.

I wouldn’t expect multi-year offers for any of them. I don’t know where the numbers will be (there is some room to work with).

I think I want Cooks and Bobby Wagner.

Shaq Thompson - 60%

DaQuon Jones - 5%

Larry Ogunjobi - 10%

New Blood:

DJ Reader - 20%

Calais Campbell - 25%

Mario Edwards - 20%

Bobby Wagner - 35%

Milano: veteran, glue guy, solid player

White: humble, mentor, high ceiling remaining

Cooks: depth veteran, reliable

Lawson: versatile, high ceiling, reliable, smart

Daquan Jones: low ceiling, comfortable floor, provides familiarity.

Other teams players I don't have opinions strong enough about to think.

Your percentiles, if correct, give us an over 80% probability of signing at least 3 of these players.

I’d add Bobby Wagner to that group of Lbs.  he’d probably want a good amount more money as he made 8-9M last season

Shaq and Cooks are the priority. They both can still play and fill needs not on the current roster.

Tre can wait. I suspect he will wait for a training camp injury to try and get a good deal

Milano is washed. Say good bye

Wagner would be such an amazing add. He can still play and would help Bernard out so much.

I'd love Okereke on a  team-friendly deal plus one of the older vets as insurance. I want a vet presence at all critical areas like OL, LB, CB and S for the playoffs. They don't need to play a down between now and then. Strictly break glass in case of emergency so we don't end up losing because of one liability. During the season, bring the young kids up to speed.

The Giants are rebuilding and Harbaugh has no stake in players from the Schein - Daboll regime. Kayvon Thibodaux and Malik Nabers can be had.

Hopefully we have seen the last of Jordan Phillips & Daquan Jones.

Shaq Thompson for sure; we're still awful at LB and he would upgrade us there instantly

I'm also open to B Cooks, but am not sure what he wants and how much room we have left in the WR room at this point.

I'd roll out the red carpet for Tre White but I think somebody else will give him more than we can afford.

Phillips is hopefully done here, but I'd take DaQuan Jones back in a heartbeat.

He was a grown-assed man last year and there's a case to be made that he was the 2nd best player on the Bills D over the course of the season.

Unfortunately he seemed pissed off about McDermott being fired so we may have burned that bridge with him.

Yeah I’d be good with any of Shaq, Okereke or Pratt. I prefer Shaq and Okereke. I just love the leadership and control Shaq brought to the table. I’m guessing Pratt sticks with Lou Anarumo in Indy.

Jones was pretty solid but yeah... no more Phillips. We keep bringing him back and he just ends up injured after one bad game.

Jordan Phillips, despite his size, is not a great fit at nose tackle.  Buffalo has plenty of 3 tech types.  It just doesn't make much sense t osign him.
