Deontae Lawson signed with the Eagles. That sucks, thought he would be worth a flyer when he was still there in the 6th and 7th.

Especially with the last name of Lawson.  Don’t we have first dibs on them?

Denhoff is a bit taller, just a hair lighter and about the same 40 time as TJ Parker.  And, of course, he also went to the same school.

He’s gonna be the Christian Benford of 2026

Dez Reid is nassssstyyyyyy. I cant think of a better depth guy. Gnarly Punt returner, catches a ton of balls.... huge big play ability

He looks like what Deonte Harty was supposed to be. Super fun.

Did Z. Harris get drafted? WILD if not.

No. Not that wild. Teams are not rushing to draft domestic violence abusers.

From what I read it seems like he dabbled in punt returning. Like 12ish returns per year. I guess he was their dude so maybe didn’t want to use him there.

Anyway, zero drops the last two years on 143 catches is crazy. He feels like Shakir light, kinda smallish frame, short arms, definitely some wiggle though. He’s interesting.

Great. We can have 103 versions of Khalil Shakir and still be lining up Keon to play outside 😫

No NT? I'd think they would at least bring someone there to see.

Yeah they'll bring someone in. They try to atleast get enough people for a full practice so im sure they'll bring in a NT to atleast ensure that they can have a full rookie mini camp

Even if its just a tryout

It's interesting maybe they did not see value or more likely they like who they have and will go with the current roster.

Not sure if you know but a lot of people don't realize, we already have a second kicker signed. Maddux Trujillo. Signed him to a futures deal after the season ended. Strong leg, good from far. I think Bass gets first chance to keep the job, but if he struggles or isn't healthy I'd say Trujillo gets first opportunity.

What, no Prater?

Is the godfather still out there?

I swear Beane signed a short armed, under sized, baby nose tackle just to stick to the houseboat loving, run stopping, magionot line loving generation who had guys like Ted Washington on their minds this week. I don’t see the kid from Penn State making the team or the PS.  We have that crap already, Ed Oliver super light-light. Is this kid somebody’s boyfriend? Jesus on a bike.

The name I hear is Phidarian Mathis, who played 3-4 nose at Alabama. He was drafted by Ron Rivera in the 2nd round to play 3-tech on that Commander line. Didn't quite work out and had injuries. Released 3 years into his rookie deal. Claimed by the Jets but failed to make Jets roster and then the Bills signed him. He's one of the early signees by the new regime in 2026. Scouting report is he's good at playing 2 gap, but at NFL level, just not working out for him. Maybe the Bills think they can rehab him. Beane also said Carter has bulked up  to be an option there. So I guess they hope one of them may work out. And Oliver and Walker can be asked to play that position from time to time based on match up.

They re-signed Mathis. He played 6 games for the Bills last year.

I was fortunate to see him play live early in his college career and then kept tabs ever since. For those that are less familiar with him, he is a legitimate playmaker with some minor injury history that kept him off the field and likely from being drafted much higher. Missed a couple games in 2024 and 7 in 2025 with a nagging high ankle sprain.

“In 2024, Pittsburgh Panthers running back Desmond Reid had a breakout season, recording 962 rushing yards, 579 receiving yards, and 10 total touchdowns in 11 games. As a versatile threat, he earned All-ACC honors, averaging 154.9 all-purpose yards per game—ranked fifth nationally—and was a second-team All-American.

2024 Season Stats (Pittsburgh):

Rushing: 183 carries, 962 yards (5.3 avg), 5 touchdowns.

Receiving: 52 receptions, 579 yards (11.1 avg), 4 touchdowns.

All-Purpose: 1,704 total yards, including punt returns.

Games: Started 11 games, missing 2 due to injury.”

Acker is an interesting guy. Kind of a tweener who can block, run and catch. They don't have a Gilliam replacement yet. He has a path to the 53.

Both of these guys look like great UDFA's at a position where they could stick if they really show something.  All of Walker's measurables are very similar to Benford's and the both had double digit pass break ups last season.  Still UDFA's but worth a look.

Would like to see the Bills bring in The Godfather just to have a big NT on the 90 man but I fear they just don’t value it
